  1. The NFL cares very much about the "appearance" of concern for player well being even if they don't mean it behind the scenes. All eyes are on them right now with this situation. This is nowhere close to some "sure thing". Also, as a doctor are you putting your medical license on the line to clear this dude?
  2. Amazing story and article! Only thing that sucks is I read the first two pages and the final page it gave me the old "subscribe if you want to finish reading" thing. Anyone want to post the highlights on page 3??
  3. It's the dropped passes in key situations that is more concerning with him in the playoffs...has happened every year
  4. Beane usually out in front of these type of things...makes me think we are not resigning Edmunds. Kuechly was basically the best parts of Milano and Edmunds combined into one with none of the weaknesses
  5. Typically WR2's only get one contract unless they get promoted to WR1 and you replace them in the draft...see Robert Woods. Not enough money to give a big contract to a WR2. Only positions that typically see big contracts on elite teams are: QB WR1 TE1 LT C/G(maybe) DE DT(maybe) CB MLB(maybe) S
  6. He also made desperate moves like trading up for Watkins.
  7. Exactly. Look at New Orleans who was $110 million over the cap easily getting under it and then making splash UFA signings too. At the end of the day I'll trust Beane far more than some dork off the internet.
  8. It is far easier to put a bunch of talented players together with no consideration for how they fit together as a team or into whatever culture you have or are trying to build than it is to sign players specifically to form an elite team of players... Whaley was good at the former... Beane is good at the latter.
  9. How about Malik Willis? He damn sure can't play QB. Maybe GM is more his thing.
  10. Smoke has 4 routes he is great at. The go route. The comeback off the go where he is wide open usually about 15-20 yards downfield. The deep over running all the way across the field 20-25 yards downfield. The WR screen, aka, the "Gold Rip" audible from Allen
  11. Well there are different types apparently and I read in a different quote that it's the type of break that usually requires a player to miss several games because they cannot grip a ball properly or switch hands. And I would imagine the first time someone chops at the ball and gets his thumb that ball is coming out due to severe pain.
  12. I would feel it might be more likely the Bills announce they are going to open the window to return from IR that lasts 21 days so he might be able to return for the AFCCG and SB if we make it...
  13. Too bad...they played an easy ass schedule and lost to both the Bills and Bengals.
  14. Knox is kept in as a blocker on 3rd down more than I can ever remember to max protect and give Josh more time.
  15. No idea but Micah Hyde is trending on Twitter now Also, BangedUpBills says it would be an aggressive timeline for return but possible... https://bangedupbills.com/2023/01/10/buffalo-bills-vs-new-england-patriots-week-18-injury-recap/
  16. Also per NextGenStats, Hines clocked in as the 18th fastest player in the NFL this season and the fastest Bill on his opening kickoff return at over 21 mph.
  17. Buffalo is the cloudiest winter city in the US...we have some sort of cloud cover an astounding 96% of the time during winter. The Great Lakes help stabilize things in the summer where we get more sunshine than anywhere in the Northeast but hurt us in the winter. Rochester is 2nd at 93% cloud cover and Cleveland 3rd at 91% cloud cover in winter...
  18. just waiting for the NFL to announce him as AFC Special Teams player of the week. Don't think it's even a competition for the award.
