Not an incentive for the team hiring them, but that team gets funding from the NFL towards the coaches salary for two years. Not sure how much they are given.

Daboll is going to win in a landslide.

Someone trying to make a name for themselves with a nonsense article.

Outside of the 2 Viking games, his top performance has been 44 yards. Not sure what he is doing that isn't replaceable by someone on our roster.

What does it matter?

How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?

Pretty confident. -
Allen led all QB's in PFF Offensive Grade at 91.8

We had the 3rd most turnovers in the NFL this season with 27 and were only even because our D also generated 27 of their own. I don't think there is another team in the NFL that can win more games while losing the TO battle, sometimes by 2 or more even. To some degree, our turnovers have take the place of our punts. We rarely punt so on the drives we don't turn the ball over, we score most of the time. Other teams turn the ball over and still punt a lot, which means it eats into their scoring possessions. -

Back then everyone threw like 20 INTs a year tho. -
I think what will help the Bills most is that they can run a bunch of games, zone blitzes, etc to confuse the OLine protection schemes in a loud environment where they can't talk to each other and the Bills can get some quick pressures off that type of stuff. Continuity is huge on the OLine, especially when you can't hear or communicate with the player next to you in regards to blocking assignments. With the same 5 guys all year you already have all that down because you've seen everything there is to see and worked through it over the course of a season. With 3 new guys in there and having to use silent counts and having no ability to communicate, that is going to make things really difficult in that regard. If anything, the Bengals may try to run the ball more to lessen the pressure they face.

I think we just are going to have to live with what he does. He will drive us crazy with some turnovers but he will also make more unbelievable plays in a season than most QB's do in their career.- 64 replies

They never have been a good running team even when all 5 were healthy. People have this notion because they have Joe Mixon they are some rushing powerhouse. They aren't. They are average to below average rushing the football.

3rd in passing at 86.1 2nd in rushing at 92.4 1st overall at 91.8. I know it's PFF, but this kinda refutes the notion that his turnovers mean he isn't as good as other QB's

Maybe do the Marlowe intentionally where he drops into an area that doesn't make sense based on what the Bills have shown previously? I mean he made a mistake and got a pick, so why not? 😂

Will your respect for Tom Brady change when he retires?
Big Turk replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I lost all respect for him when I saw the movie "80 for Brady" coming out... -
Yes...it was a surprise trip to the AFCCG that year. We had played them earlier in the year(just like this year...or were supposed to) and lost 35-21 in week 13...got crushed on the ground in that game...232 carries on 52 attempts and turned the ball over 4 times. Bengals ran 79 plays and had 455 yards of offense. Bills were 11-1 going into that one. In the AFCCG it was mostly a defensive game...Bills only had 181 yards and Cincy only had 249. They still were able to run the effectively enough to control the game, again having 50 carries but this time for only 175 yards. Esiason was mostly ineffective only going 11 of 20 for 94 yards with 1 TD and 2 INTs along with 3 sacks and a QB Rating of 44.6. Kelly was even worse tho, going 14 of 30 for 163 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs, 3 sacks and a QB Rating of 35.1. Might have been the worst combined QB play in any championship game in the modern era, and if it wasn't it can't be far off. Total passing output for both teams was 25 of 50 for 257 yards, 2 TDs, 6 INTs and 6 sacks. Pathetic. Kinda glad the game doesn't look like that anymore.

I wouldn't say that. They are less effective but some of it is teams are getting the ball out quickly as well.

Sundays game clocked in at 3 hours and 53 minutes, unofficially, which would make it the longest home game ever in franchise history. The previous record didn't last long as that was the Vikings OT game from earlier this year which clocked in at 3 hours and 46 minutes. If anyone wondered why it felt so late when the game was over, that was the reason. https://www.wivb.com/sports/sundays-bills-game-was-longest-home-game-in-franchise-history/

Quick slants are just as capable of beating tight man coverage, can lead to long gains and are much easier completions. Where are any of these as options?

Will be easy to run on them...his run D was terrible.
