  1. The Bills can run the ball fine when they choose to do so. It's a schematic decision not to run the ball more than some limitation. It gets tiring with people thinking the Bills are going to be a pass heavy team but then also be the next 2000 Baltimore Ravens running the ball. It's just not realistic. Trust me, if the Bills decide to run the ball they can do it. Your complaint should be they choose not to do so too often if you want to make that complaint, not that they cannot do it. It's been proven false time and time again, so I'm not sure why we have to keep hearing this nonsense. The bigger issue is the poor pass blocking. Allen is dodging a rusher far too often early in dropbacks.
  2. OK, then upgrade the weaponry around him and more importantly the OLine.
  3. And what do you think happens when Allen has to learn a new system, scheme and terminology? You think that is somehow a 100% foolproof system for improving? I'd say there is a high likelihood it would be worse.
  4. Ehh..did it? They scored 32+ points in 4 straight games But they have time to hire someone that might be worse? Always be careful what you wish for... I think forcing Allen to learn an entirely new system, terminology and scheme would have a very high chance of causing a REAL regression, not the fake one most posters seem to want to talk about that didn't actually exist.
  5. Because he has no way of ever improving right? Weird mindset that people think players can improve as rookies but coaches have no similar way of improving. For the record he ran one of the best offenses a rookie OC has ever run.
  6. Rousseau is a very good and ascending player. Could become elite next year. Oliver was very good most games and took over the Thanksgiving game. There is a reason the Bills led the NFL in stuffs and at putting teams in 3rd and 11+ and 3rd and 7+. This wasn't anyone's best game but I think this is a pretty big overreaction.
  7. Their defense is terrifying. Especially against teams that like passing. Burrow might get sacked 15 times if they end up playing them.
  8. Chad OchoCinco statisticslly was every bit as good as Diggs. Or perhaps you forgot. Also had a much better #2 in Houshmanzadeh. Perhaps you forgot that as well. Championship?
  9. Maybe it was made by someone smarter than you.
  10. But it took him a long time to develop that scheme. A lot longer than a year. Dorsey may end up not being a great OC. But assuredly we do not know that after his first year. Because if you just looked at what OCs did in their first year, his was one of the best first years in NFL history and far far better than Daboll or Reid's. It was 12 years until Reid ran an offense as good as the one Dorsey ran this year. His first year he was dead last in the NFL in offense.
  11. And how long has Reid been doing it? It's funny to think that people think a guy automatically had all the answers after his first season and then just stayed the same for 30 years. You don't think Reid took some lumps his first few years calling plays and learned from failures? So basically people think that a first year coach has no way to ever get any better. That they are simply who they are for however long they coach. I say that's complete and utter BS. It would be like saying a player has no ability to improve at all after his rookie year. FYI, it took Reid 12 years to run an offense as successful as the one Dorsey just ran this year statistically. His first year? 25th in points, 30th in yards(aka Dead last).
  12. So you think that a first time playcaller has zero room to grow and adapt? Lucky that wasn't what people thought of Daboll. He would have never coached in the NFL after his first few stints as OC. Newsflash. Coaches just like players tend to grow and adapt especially after their first season.
  13. Very good...defensive game. Purdy has been exposed somewhat as I expected
  14. OMG...if he busted outside he would have scored! Haha, I lived in Cincy for a little over a year...what part of the area are you in?
  15. It was no factor. Coming from Allen. I think he'd know.
  16. But it's unrealistic to think ANY team is going to have all it's players healthy during a season let alone the postseason.
  17. I don't know why people think coaches are static. Like they don't grow and improve just like a player does year to year. It was his first time as an OC. I'm sure there are a lot of lessons he learned and will continue to learn as he progresses. Maybe this is his ceiling but I would tend to doubt it. Look at Daboll. He was not great in his first few kicks at the can but he learned something from those failures. And that is what so many don't seem to get. In life, failures usually teach you a lot more than your successes do. I would expect him to be better next year and probably every year after that for at least a few more.
  18. It's funny because I just said that exact same thing in a text to one of my buddies... And if I feel like this I can't imagine what they must have felt like with the weight of all of WNY on them on top of it.
