Don't think "WR2" in the upcoming draft. Think WR1.

Don't think WR2 or WR1 in the draft...just think. -
Hasn't he interviewed for jobs where they hired a Black coach? What's the reason then, he was too black? Someone else's "Bojangles routine" up on the coffee table was better? I mean, this doesn't make much sense as 4-5 other black head coaches have been hired minimum during this time.

Draft JSN, Josh Downs or Zay Flowers...whoever is available when we pick at 27 in that order. If Bijan Robinson is available tho, I think you might have to take him. Yeah it's an RB but he is almost a sure fire elite player. Comparison is Saquon Barkley. And we need elite players. I don't know how you pass that up at 27.

OK, then stop watching, nobody is forcing you to watch. Have a nice day...plenty of Bachelorette or Housewives of Wherever episodes for you to watch competing in Primetime against the NFL.

As well as apparently all other major sporting leagues we follow in the US? MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL all had their roots in Canada? That's crazy... In 1874 McGill University in Montreal sent a letter challenging Harvard to a few friendly games in Cambridge, MA of "foot-ball" which Harvard accepted. The first game too place in May of 1874 and had 500 spectators watching. The first recorded game of Canadian Football took place in 1861. https://www.distractify.com/p/did-canada-invent-football

We have a Super Bowl trophy (or two) if Andy Reid was our head coach
Big Turk replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was a fantastic breakdown of how Reid paid attention to what the Eagles were doing and used it against them for 2 wide open TDs. -
Sounds similar to what people said about Andy Reid for 15 years.

Yes...you trade a first ballot future HOF'er for "hope" you draft someone better. Have you taken any psychedelic drugs lately? I agree with all of it. Allen needs to stop feeling like he has to make something happen on every play because his players aren't getting open enough or the coaching staff isn't giving him enough easy answers. He also needs to get better at taking the easy answers when they are there.

Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP
Big Turk replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is, by far, the worst weather city in the NFL as ranked by the weather channel. Green Bay was second...a distant 2nd. It's an article on Fan Duel itself. -
Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP
Big Turk replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
SB obviously, stop acting like its one or the other. Allen being MVP obviously would help our chances since he wouldn't be turning the ball over as much, which has been the knock on why he hasn't won it(although to be fair in 99.5% of seasons, Allen's 2020 season would have won MVP....if not for one of the best season of all time for Rodgers.) -
They actually did when it mattered in the 2nd half. That's what helped give them the lead, a key stop on 3rd down, a bad punt and a return to the 5 yard line.

Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP

Bills are 2nd to the Chiefs(+600) at +850. Vegas doesn't appear too down on them unlike 75% of the posters here. -
Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP
Big Turk replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
As Mahomes showed, the two aren't mutually exclusive. -
Allen is +170, Mahomes and Burrow +700 are closest. Vegas obviously isn't buying what so many on these Bills Boards are trying to sell them. Bills Boards: Allen is a liability! His turnovers are costing us games! He isn't good enough! Wah! Wah! Wah! Vegas: NFL favorite for MVP next year in a landslide by almost 3.5 times the next player. Step back from the ledge and have some perspective.

He is just mad looking at the 2023 Futures NFL MVP Odds where Allen has a massive lead on Mahomes and everyone else. Bills boards: Allen is a massive problem!! He isn't good enough! He turns the ball over way way too much! He is a liability! Wah! Wah! Wah! Vegas: NFL MVP Favorite by a landslide.

Favre was a 3 time NFL MVP in 3 straight years between 1995-1997, are you claiming the voting was rigged or something. C'mon man, let's stop pretending he wasn't among the best of his time. This sounds really revisionist.
-
That Beane drafted very well in his first 3 years and not so well in the last 3. Not sure how you could argue that overall. He was a first ballot hall of famer and 3 time MVP are you saying that's not good enough and you wouldn't be happy if Josh had his career? Clearly people thought he was the best player in a season 3 times. Your argument sounds a little revisionist.

Defense needs to be focused on generating turnovers, that's how these teams with average defenses become "good enough" to win. Bills are very good at this already.
-
I didn't know that's the only thing that counted in drafts. Idiotic take if that's your full argument. And yet they still won 13 games and were 2nd in the NFL in point differential. Allen is going to be like Favre in some ways, he is going to make some boneheaded plays, but he is going to make far more good ones than bad ones.
