I’ll throw this out there about Hollywood Brown.

Not trading anything for a guy that I have to give up assets for and then have to pay significant money to as the #2 WR. You don't build successful teams that way. You find a guy in the draft, which I am clamoring for to begin with. But signing a guy for $10 million that probably isn't as good as a guy already on the roster? No thanks. -
Byron Jones - Dolphins CB - Says He Can't Play Anymore

It's really crazy that even with modern surgery and medicine that some people still can't come back...or it says that he didn't attack his rehab the way he probably needed to. -
It's intentional.. they were not stupid...they designed a system so complicated the average American has no idea all of the loopholes that exist, but be sure all the millionaires and billionaires do and take full advantage of them. The system was designed for them to keep their wealth. In regards to Poyer...Always get rid of a player a year too early than a year too late. Belichick was the master of it and it almost always worked to his advantage.

Chad Johnson says he lived in Bengals' stadium for two years

So we bust on pro athletes that go broke from spending money too much and now we bust on them for wanting to save their money too? -
The 81 save perfomance in the playoffs against the Devil's that the Sabres won 1-0 in 4 OTs still might be the best live event I have ever witnessed for excellence. He was on another planet that night. I don't care if New Jersey was shooting 3 pucks, none of them were going in the net. Hasek was so good that he used to regularly get in the heads of his opponents who would sometimes try to make a shot too perfect because they knew they couldn't score otherwise and even when they did, many times he would still stop it anyway. Never saw so many players shake their head as if to say "what do I have to do to score on this guy" than I did with Hasek.

Forgot Pat LaFontaine's 53-95-148 line in the same season as Mogilny's 76 goals that still stands as the franchise record for most points and assists in a season...he was the one assisting on the majority of those goals for Mogilny...just an amazing player to watch. Mogilny is 2nd on that point total list with 127. Hawerchuk is 7th with 98 points and they all came during the same season...must have been one of the best lines in NHL history in terms of single season points(probably can't compare to the 80s Oilers lines, but still).

Mine consolidated at like 7.25% and you couldn't redo it, you were basically stuck with that rate forever once you did it...it really sucked...but hopefully will be free of those soon.
-
Mine have already been consolidated quite some time ago....just recertified for IDR...this would be pretty amazing if it happens, owe about 40K on them.

I'd rather have Shakir...Meyers is about the definition of a JAG. -
He's going back to Cali...Cali...Cali... He's going back to Cali... Yo man, I don't think so!
-
Technically didn't fire him, they just didn't renew his contract.

To get benched in 4 professional leagues. Wonder if "Jerrah" is still upset he didn't give the extra 3 to move up to take him and wishes he overpaid for him? If you are going to flame out as a bust, at least he is doing it in spectacular fashion! Somewhere Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell are celebrating his achievements.
-
I think it says a lot that the Chiefs did not try to match the contract offer or the title he got from the Commanders.

C'mon man...let's stop being silly. The 49ers had Bosa who is better than Von Miller is right now. He just won DPOY. The Eagles led the NFL in sacks and came within 2 of tying the all time record of the 85 Bears. None of that mattered in the playoffs. Having Von Miller wouldn't have made any difference to us getting scored on.

No issues with millionaires and billionaires hiding money and not paying taxes but if the average person makes $600 they need to get theirs.

The problem is science will never be able to explain everything and fit it in the nice, neat little box we want it to. Additionally, some of the foundational scientific laws are either likely wrong or flawed in some ways meaning everything built on top of those needs to come into question. Humans think we know so much but we know virtually nothing in the grand scheme of things. Quantum physics calls a lot of what we "know" to be fundamentally true into question. https://www.sciencealert.com/a-new-quantum-paradox-throws-the-foundations-of-observed-reality-into-question

No...am waiting for when they clear all student loads after being in an IBRE program once the loans are 20 or 25 years old regardless of how much is left to pay which is supposedly coming soon.

They don't NEED to keep spending day 1 picks on defense. We don't NEED a top 5 defense every year. Just going to have to live with an average D and invest the resources to offense. The rules favor the offense, we have a superhuman at QB, invest in it instead of forcing him to do superhuman things too often. OLine and WR. The D is going to get scored on in the playoffs against good offensive teams, we have seen that throughout the playoffs. and from experience. It doesn't matter...rules are titled too heavily to the offense now, stop trying be great at both and focus on being great at the side of the ball where we can benefit the most. If McD is such a great defensive coach he should be able to do more with less.

Thousands per month at restaurants? You must be crazy. -
Is Noel some new player that you added to the roster? 😂

Basically think he blew off the offseason program, mailed it in during the season and didn't show up in shape. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/02/17/report-packers-are-disgusted-with-aaron-rodgers-theyre-done-with-him/
