  1. His plant foot slipped on a wet field where players were slipping all night. Not really going to hold that against him. I kicked on wet fields before and it's hard to find the right balance between making sure you stride far enough to generate enough power versus keeping your foot close enough so it doesn't slip. If he kicked that ball on a normal field I'd be with you. Slipping on a wet field? Nah, that can happen to any kicker in the league. As soon as he hit that ball I assumed his plant foot slipped and then I saw a replay where I could confirm it. He has looked very solid so far other than that idiotic kick out of bounds against the Cards.
  2. That's because they don't get to 4th down very often because Allen converts 3rd downs at a rate never seen before in the history of the NFL. They also have punted the fewest times in the NFL over the last 4 years. Not understanding context of statistics leads to the drawing of faulty conclusions using them.
  3. More of a factor that the Ravens AGAIN blew a 7+ point 4th quarter lead for the 11th time in the last 5 seasons, the most in the NFL... I got Breece Hall in 3 of my 4 fantasy leagues Houston needs to actually do it in the playoffs first before I say they are "right there".
  4. Yeah pretty much...
  5. We had issues running against them too...they bottled up our run game and got us in 2nd/3rd and long a lot ..which doesn't usually matter with Allen since he converts more 3rd downs than anyone in NFL history but still...shorter ones are always easier.
  6. Yeah that's a little weird.Even in October the average high is 82, November 73 and December 66. You'd think those 3 months would be perfect for some to be open.
  7. They are good but struggled mightily against some defenses last year...the Jets made Stroud look terrible. I would suspect McD has something up his sleeve for Stroud.
  8. What a freaking catch! Not sure his foot down when he secured the ball tho...I don't think it's a catch
  9. I think it's much more that the Bills have no comparable player to Chris Jones like the Chiefs have who is essentially the defensive version of Mahomes on their team. You need a big play late in clutch time? Jones is there. Even in today's game when the chips were down and they needed a stop he destroyed a screen play and then the next play causes Burrow to run for his life and he gets hit, fumbles and ball is returned for a TD. In the playoffs, Jones has been responsible for multiple saved TDs late in games that would have given the other teams the lead (including against us last year). Bills have nobody like this on D(perhaps Von of healthy). If we did, Allen would have won a SB already.
  10. Let's see what McD has in store for them Bears dancing like
  11. They are threatening to turn it into a 3 point game inside the 10.
  12. Damn...3 flags from all directions?? That's when you KNOW you committed a penalty 🤣🤣
  13. Wow...an Edwards siting!
  14. Like the first 8 weeks of the season last year with Dorsey? Wow...talk about a wimpy FG decision
  15. I dunno...watching it live it was apparent it was a catch on TV
  16. Haha, this is the playoff loss in 1996 being referred to, which was Kelly's last game as well that he left due to a concussion.
  17. That was Josh Allen-esque
  18. They run a highly flawed offensive scheme and their D is not good
  19. A lot of times players leave the stadium in a boot for precautionary measures even if they play the next week. That being said, it could be something more serious as well, but the walking boot thing doesn't necessarily mean anything by itself.
  20. He is just typically lost in general.
  21. There is a Dub in one of my Fantasy leagues on that Stroud TD...was down 2 points with Stroud left to play, other person is done.
  22. Same way they have every time they played them. This is nothing new. McDermott figured out how to defeat McDaniel's scheme in their first meeting and McDaniel has never adjusted to do anything to counter it. McDaniel's scheme is simply highly flawed and always has been. Predicated on flash and glitz with little substance. All that motion, misdirection, fakes, etc happen because they have no fundamentals to rely on and they use those to try and make up for it. That's why they get their asses handed to them every time they play a fundamentally sound defense that doesn't go for any of their nonsense and takes away deep passes with a 2 high shell and clogs the middle to take away crossers while jamming their WRs to disrupt timing.
  23. Not really. It was clearly a penalty. Both DPI and hit to the head of a defenselessness receiver. People need to STOP SAYING THAT. You do NOT get a right to "play the ball" by going thru a receiver. You have a right to the ball by going around them, if you are in front of them and jumping at the same time, etc.. You don't get to do what essentially is an "Over the Back* foul in the NBA that is called all the time. It's a penalty in the NBA and it's a penalty in the NFL. Where do people come up with this? You can't go thru a player to get to a ball, sorry. Go read the rule book a little more
  24. Man...can't take that sack...gotta know the situation. Young QB issue...Allen used to do that all the time in his first few years.
  25. Trap games don't exist. How many times does this have to be said and proven statistically before people stop saying this nonsense? Yeah I was at that playoff loss...could have heard a pin drop when Kelly went down. We all thought is this the last time we see him? Is that EJ Manuel game the one we lost when we got called for a phantom DPI penalty where our player (Roby?) got called for PI and we never even touched the player? Believe it wiped out a 4th down stop and they drove down and won the game
