  1. Honestly, I am disappointed in Diggs. Not because he can't be upset or maybe doesn't have a right to be upset. But as a captain of the team and a supposed leader, you have a standard of behavior that is expected from you because other players on the team are looking at you and taking notes and will follow suit. Being upset is perfectly fine. His actions and behavior stemming from him being upset is the problem, and that is 100% within his control. Dealing with something similar with my daughter right now where she gets really upset at little things and screams and stomps her foot in her room. She is a kid, we are teaching her that it's fine to be upset but it's not fine to act that way because of it and there are healthier ways to deal with it. She has improved quite a bit, but it has been a process. Diggs is 30. As he once famously told Josh Allen - "What's your excuse now?" And if all of this was such a big issue why has it taken 5+ months for the parties to come together and talk it out so that it has been festering for this long? As someone very wise once told me and I have always remembered this - "When things are good between two people, time and distance helps create stronger bonds and better feelings, when things are bad between two people, time and distance allows things to fester like an open wound and become much worse." This should have been sorted out a week or two after the season once cooler heads prevailed.
  2. He could know that he wasn't going to be there but still be very concerned about the situation and that it hasn't been resolved going on 6 months after the fact. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.
  3. Doesn't appear to be serious...
  4. I mean what's McD supposed to say about a guy there was there in the morning before practice and then left without being at practice, apparently without him knowing what was going on?
  5. Perhaps he asked these questions in person and didn't like the answers he got?
  6. They didn't "let" him go, under NFL regulations they had to allow him to go.
  7. Allen changes the play a lot, so I think the answer to that is absolutely.
  8. It's in the contract they can restructure whenever they want and it's very rare to talk to a player prior to doing it. Why? Because it accelerates the money the player receives so what player is going to refuse more up front money?
  9. This sounds weird...if he is supposed to be there but isn't there...did something bad happen? Did someone kidnap him for ransom money? I mean this world has gotten crazy, and people just DGAF nowadays.
  10. But why report for medical clearance yesterday at the team facility of he wasn't planning on showing up then?? That's the part that makes no sense to me.
  11. The weird part is he reported for medical clearance at the team facility yesterday but not to minicamp today, so he is in WNY.
  12. It's not happening. They would have to cut like 8 players and take a $45 million dead cap hit.
  13. Apparently Diggs reported for medical clearance checking at the facility yesterday and is in WNY but did not report for minicamp today? Very strange and hopefully something nefarious hasn't happened...
  14. Most of the time teams don't talk to player before restructuring because it's built into their contract that they can do it and it is highly beneficial to the player since they get more money upfront, so what would they be upset about?
  15. He likes stirring the pot to get clicks and views, and he knows the Bills fanbase will fall into the trap he set.
  16. Arlington Cowboys, Santa Clara 49ers, Paradise Raiders, Landover Commanders, Miami Gardens Dolphins, Inglewood Rams and Chargers, Glendale Cardinals are the others.
  17. But they do play in New York. At least half the teams in the NFL don't play in the city they are named for.
  18. More focused...he realizes he has the talent and the physical ability to be the best QB in the NFL and cement his status as a future 1st ballot HOFer. The only thing standing in his way is himself. I think we are seeing him push himself to be greater than he already is. Part of the maturing process.
