  1. Apparently we are going from mid October weather today and much of the last week to mid summer weather next week with temps around 90 for 3 days... Been a very weird weather pattern in WNY this summer.
  2. So we got a DJ and a place to park a car on the practice squad...good start!
  3. When your QB is milquetoast, you have to have that. Puts an awful lot more pressure on the GM and coach. Not the ideal way to win a super bowl based on how the league is built.
  4. Shows you how dumb they are. No team is beating us by running the ball.
  5. And yet we won our division last year by more games than any other team in the NFL. And played one less game. Remarkable isn't it?
  6. Singletary was a good player and started at least 3 of his 4 years. Give me a break. RBs don't get 2nd contracts from teams looking to win Super Bowls.
  7. "Players with fewer than four accrued seasons in the NFL are subject to waivers, meaning any other team can claim them. Veterans with four or more accrued seasons in the league, however, are released instead of waived, making them free agents who can sign with any team of their choosing."
  8. He does see the field, on ST. Backup LB's typically have a very large role on Special teams.
  9. Gouirage was cut with intention of bringing him back on the PS as found in the cut thread...Anderson made the team
  10. Hodgins is a JAG who will be out of the NFL in 2 years. He doesn't even have Robert Foster upside. Unless he plays the Vikings apparently. Against all other teams he didn't have more than 4 catches or 44 yards.
  11. Some speculating Reid Ferguson will get cut for a day so they can get Spector to in-season IR giving them the option of bringing him back at some point during the year. Then will resign Ferguson again tomorrow. Perfect candidate since he has no guarantees in his contract and is not subject to waivers.
  12. And he also has been terrible at protecting QBs who get injured at a far, far higher rate than anywhere else in the NFL.
  13. Dorsey's stats last year across the board were better than Daboll's last year here. If that's your first year on the job, that's a pretty damn good floor to have.
  14. Let's be real...Lance was Shanahan's doing.
  15. When is Shanahan by that logic? He gave up 3 firsts and more for Lance who he dumped for a 4th and got literally nothing out of him. Let's stop acting like all picks are homeruns for other teams.
  16. Pretty sure it works that way across the board in all areas of life...the longer you do something, the more you learn and the better you get at it. It's not rocket science.
  17. I'm not sure this should be a surprise to anyone... he would lap the field if they asked "Who is the best GM at getting players to take below market deals to stay with or come to a team?"
  18. It was his first year...pretty sure you weren't as good at what you do for a living in year 1 as you would be in year 2 or year 5 or year 10.
  19. Highly unlikely a person who has been "shopping" a team would undertake a project the size and scope of which the upgrades to Key Bank Center will likely entail, which are planned to take "years" to complete as much of the work will be done during the offseason, which is about to get a lot shorter starting next year. I'll chalk this up in the bar talk coming from a friend of a friend of a cousin's sister's friend category
  20. Let's be real...unless you have the cap space for a high end backup, you are going to struggle to win games if QB1 goes down. Most teams that have that type of cap space for a high end back up have their starter on a rookie deal or the starter isn't very good so if he struggles they can turn to the high priced backup to hopefully come in and give them a boost for a few games.
  21. I'm not going to say this makes zero sense but it is as close to zero as you could possibly get. 1) Teams need more quality CB's with injuries and the plethora of WRs to cover on most plays now. 2) He is on a cheap rookie deal 3) He fits their scheme well 4) No team is going to give up much for him in a trade...you aren't getting a 1st round pick for him or anything close to that. After typing that out...I changed my mind...this does absolutely make ZERO sense.
