Schedule "Gauntlet" A Reality As Long As Bills Win Division
Big Turk replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most time QBs in their 2nd season find it isn't as easy as it was in their rookie year when DC's have the entire offseason to prepare and watch a full year's worth of NFL games to pick apart every flaw you have and devise gameplans against them. -
Schedule "Gauntlet" A Reality As Long As Bills Win Division
Big Turk replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody knows who is going to actually be good this year and who will take a step back...worrying about the schedule at this time of the year is pointless but every year people waste their time doing it. -
Joe Marino breaks down the schedule completely
Big Turk replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly what is there to break down? Everyone sees the games. Nobody knows how good the teams will be at this point of the year or who will be injured for either team when the game is played. Making this commentary mostly meaningless. -
Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)
Big Turk replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude, who cares? RBs don't get 2nd contracts. 4 years and you draft another one. Are you still stuck in the 70s? -
5 primetime games and another national TV broadcast against the Chiefs... And 2 other 4:05/4:25 games... Plus potential flexes... The mostly 1pm schedule remains elusive.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)
Big Turk replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
He runs a 4.42, he isn't slow. Who cares about game 1? The Bills are notoriously slow at bringing rookies along. I'm more interested how things are progressing around week 7 or 8. -

You won't say that after the first game you watch him play I'll bet. -
Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)
Big Turk replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was Andre Reed-esque moves in the open field by Shakir... knowing where people are behind you and making the right moves to give them bad angles and then changing it up last second in the other direction... -
Until we see how they fit together as a team, I withhold judgement. The Bills often are a "sum is greater than their parts" team and the players they selected are all solid players who are leaders and hard workers that will seemingly fit in and form the young core of the team moving forward. I think people will have a dramatically different opinion in 3 years, which is the amount of time required to have any real opinion that matters.

Former Jets CB Buster Skrine on the run from police
Big Turk replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buster Skrine pulling an old Eazy-E: Female Interviewer: "Have you ever been involved in, like, an armed robbery or a hold-up?" Eazy-E: "You mean a 211?" FI: "Yeah" EE: "There's a store, but don't point Walk inside, case the joint One man behind the counter, another in the back Go out to the car and load the gat Grabbed the ski mask, here's the task Go in broke, come out with cash" FI: "Were you slick?" EE: "Yeah, you gotta be cunnin' Told Ice Cube to leave the car runnin'. Walked in, said: "This is a robbery" Didn't need the money, it's just a hobby Fill the bag, homeboy, don't lag I want money, beer, and a pack of zig-zags. The man in the back had a camera So he came out to test his stamina Against Eazy-E, but he took one Fell to the floor, so I run... Back to the bucket, then I said: "Punch it" Took the gun, and then dumped it I'm not like Robin Hood, 'cause I want more Steal from the rich, hang with the poor... My pockets are fat, you see, it don't matter to me I feel like nobody is badder than me" FI: "Is all that true?" EE: "I don't lie...You see... I'm not mister nice guy" -
Only QB higher is Joe Burrow. "Gotta Have It" drives are drives where they are trailing with under 5 minutes to go in the 2nd half. Lamar Jackson was 3rd, which means this HAS to be a regular season stat, Brady was 4th and Mahomes was 5th. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/lamar-jackson-better-clutch-than-patrick-mahomes-tom-brady-past-five-seasons-analytics

12-5 and win the AFC East. Josh Allen is that good.

Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
Big Turk replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Low risk high reward signing if he can get his head on straight. He can be a really good player if his head is on straight...I think the culture here will either force him out quickly or he really gets on board and trends upwards...very smart signing with no downside really. -
The Vikings allegedly tried hard to trade up to #3
Big Turk replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tried to pull a Beane with the double move up to get Allen...just didn't end up working out for them tho. -
I think those are the implants you are looking at in his wife's chest.

Stephen Ross Turned Down $10 BILLION For the Dolphins
Big Turk replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Once you have that kind of money it's not about the money anymore, it's about being in exclusive "clubs" and the NFL is the biggest sport in the world in terms of revenue generated and team value by a country mile so it's the most exclusive club there is... 9 of the top 15 valued franchises in ANY sport are in the NFL and 6 of the top 8 are NFL teams led by the Cowboys at over 9 Billion. Yankees are 2nd at 7.1 Billion and the Golden State Warriors are 3rd at 7.0 Billion. The next 5 teams are NFL teams. Breakdown of the top 15: 9 NFL 3 NBA 1 MLB 1 Premier League Soccer Team 1 La Liga Soccer Team https://www.visualcapitalist.com/worlds-most-valuable-sports-teams-2024/ -
Coleman reminds me a lot of Anquan Boldin watching highlights... Boldin ran a 4.71 40 time...didn't have much of a problem getting open in the NFL.

One thing people don't realize is that Buffalo at one point had the highest number of churches per capita in the entire US...not sure if they still do, but I know they are still pretty high up there.
