  1. Beane probably went to his Pinkalicious stories from bedtime with his kids and told Kirksey "You get what you get and you don't get upset." But just like Pinkalicious, Kirksey got very upset.
  2. "Hi...my name is AJ. I live on the 2nd floor... I live upstairs from you... Yes, I think I've seen you before..."
  3. That throw to Shakir for the TD was otherworldly...he lived up to his nickname, "The Alien"
  4. Probably because they got another job. I expect people on this board to have a reading comprehension of the English Language above 2nd grade. Please re-read my post again and come up with a better response.
  5. Really it's semantics. If you quit a job and never work again, you retired.
  6. Not sure we have one....we would just tell it straight to your face. "Man, Get the fvck outta here!" maybe?
  7. For Devante Adams it would. It was a play that happens in pretty much every game at least once. Why you would put your star players in harms way in a meaningless final few minutes is beyond me.
  8. Yup...when they say to your face "Bless Your Heart", it isn't meant to be sweet and endearing like they are saying it...they are basically giving you the middle finger to your face with a smile and telling you to fvck off. And the amount of stuff said behind people's back down there is off the chains...they will literally act like your best friend to your face and as soon as you are gone will trash talk the hell out of you to everyone else there.
  9. Sure you can...you just won't get whatever benefits you would be receiving from them otherwise, but you can definitely retire. It's a free country, you aren't their slave 😂
  10. The more appropriate question is "Why the hell was HE on the field when they were getting blown out by 28 points?" Don't be pissed at Rapp, be pissed at your Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for being dumbasses for putting you in the position where that was a possibility.
  11. hahahahaha, usually they just give you a knowing nod and a smile. Being remote for the last 3+ years now hasn't given me as much opportunity for this to happen lately tho...
  12. Klein can always be counted on to be in the right position and know what he is supposed to do...might be a step slow getting there now, but trusting the player knows what he is doing is a huge thing in this defense because they are a technique and positional defense which requires all players to be on the same page to function at a high level.
  13. Probably doesn't see a path forward here with the way Bernard has been playing and the Bills likely told him as much...he was insurance against Bernard not looking the part, but he has very much looked the part.
  14. Try parking on the side of the highway next time with your hazards on and see how many people stop within 15 minutes to offer help. I have been late to work more times than I have fingers on one hand from that.
  15. Doesn't really matter much. I like McD's track record against young QBs. Dude is gonna see stuff he didn't know existed this week.
  16. The craziest part is, I would not be surprised if those people made a bunch of new friends, some of whom they still talk to and hang out with from time to time. That's just kinda how we roll here.
  17. Bengals are going to turn that calf strain into an Achilles tear if they don't let him rest. Ask Golden State and Kevin Durant how that one went...
  18. This has the look of Mike White hype and then he faced the Bills.
  19. It was a major shipping, port and commerce city at the height of the Great Lakes boom...not exactly the same, commerce leads to wealth in and of itself from all those companies sending their products thru this area. Look back in history and all of the major trade centers in countries were also among the wealthiest. Also was the flour milling capital of the world for many years when production surpassed Minneapolis starting in 1930 and lasted thru the 1970s or early 1980s.
  20. The monetary wealth of this city may have long since gone away when it was the wealthiest city per capita in the entire US at the turn of the 20th century in 1900, but it never left, it just shifted to a wealth that money can't buy and why it leaves so many people in other cities feeling empty and like something is missing. Pretty much the way I have felt in every other place I have lived outside of WNY.
  21. Should be a double digit win. These are the games they just steamroll teams. Especially NFC Teams that aren't familiar with them that much.
  22. one of the craziest games I have seen that had almost everything in a whole season worth of games for a team in the first half of the first half!
  23. It's why no matter what happens out in public unless my life is in danger, I walk away. Not worth dying over, being shot over, severely beaten, etc... People are psychotic these days and have no respect for human life. Also with everything that has gone on the past 3-4 years you have no idea what a person's mental state is and if you will be the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of pushing them over the line where they snap and just can't take it anymore.
