  1. What's crazy is I am willing to bet those other guys have far more pass rush attempts than Oliver does based on the rotation we use and how they have rested starters the last 2 games...and the fact the Raiders only had 39 total offensive snaps the entire game.
  2. It's called ego...he thought he could ride in on his high horse and because he was so great and because he was Sean "F***ing* Payton, they would win 12 games and challenge the Chiefs for the AFC West crown. Looks like he overestimated his abilities by a bit...
  3. Luckily the Dolphins don't have lots of fans I guess.
  4. Yeah, that is true, but those are also still returned at a decent rate as well. The fair catch called in the field of play when teams kick it short resulting in a TB has not been used very often in the games I have watched.
  5. Which games are these? Every game I have watched, and it's been a lot, has seen players returning these kicks instead of calling for a fair catch, except the one last night where he fair caught a kick at the 12. The NFL doesn't want to eliminate touchbacks, they want to eliminate KO Returns. That would be the opposite of what they are hoping to accomplish.
  6. LMAO!! So upgrading a giant pile of horse manure for a dog turd?
  7. Well apparently it must not have been Suzy Kolber since he "didn't give a damn about how the Jets are playing, I just want to kiss you!" when she asked what he thought...😂 LMAO...I don't know which is worse...
  8. It's far less "death" than I thought with the new rule in place with a fair catch to the 25. Yesterday was the first time I have seen this used...I am sure it has happened in other games that I haven't been watching, but by comparison, I have probably seen close to 20 kickoff returns in those games I watched.
  9. "The grass isn't greener on the other side...the grass is greener where you choose to water it." "If you took a room full of random people and had everyone write down all the problems in their life on a sheet of paper, fold it up into little squares, put it in a hat and then pass it around and pick out a random square, you'd find out 2 things. First, you'd find out that everyone has problems in their life they are dealing with. Second, you'd find that you probably would want your list of problems back instead of the one in front of you."
  10. Depends on what the defense is doing...if they are determined to take away deeper throws, then we are going to have to throw shorter and run effectively to loosen that up. Essentially we need to be patient until the defense gets impatient. Maybe there is a reason for that? Maybe Josh throws the ball too hot and they end up getting ricocheted and deflected up and that would be an area of the field where there are a lot of defenders. Maybe defenders are ready to knock those down? Allen was having a LOT of batted passes early last year and I believe that was when they were attempting to throw more inside short stuff.
  11. Yes...Bills attack vertically while most teams attack horizontally, which gives them more running room on shorter throws.
  12. Except maybe against us since Hoodie still seemingly has no answers for Allen outside 70 mph winds?
  13. We are the best team in the NFL on 3rd downs over the past season plus this year(20 games-17 last year and 3 this year) converting over 50% of them...and I believe were 2nd the year before that in the high 40% range.
  14. Same with Baltimore and when it happens over and over again every year you have to start looking at their training methods versus teams like the Bills who lead the NFL by a mile in fewest man games lost to injury since McD has been here and have been top 5 every year in that category. You CAN prevent injuries to some degree, and especially let minor issues heal and not turn into major ones. Players who left the Ravens have gone off on how bad their training was there and how it set them up for injuries...they had 7!!! starters out yesterday.
  15. Until he gets injured for the year like always too.
  16. T-Swift seemed pretty excited to be with a muscular, good looking athlete versus a scrawny, pale looking ghost like she usually ends up with. A reminder to all the single men out there...your body can do a lot of free talking with women for you if you take care of it and keep it looking good.
  17. "One thing I can do is Finger Roll..."
  18. Bills have the lowest blitz percentage and the highest sack rate, by a wide margin. That should be terrifying for opposing offenses. I find it hard to believe that the Bills DLine isn't getting held at all with them being so dominant rushing the passer.
  19. A lot of deep crossers end up near the sideline so the receiver takes a few steps and is OOB. A lot of routes are stop and comebacks which are not going to get a lot of YAC. He doesn't throw as many checkdowns to backs who gain 10-15 yards after the catch or screens where they are behind the LOS so they have lots of space to run. The offense is designed differently and relies more on Allen using his arm to gain those extra 5-6 yards versus the receivers running the extra 5 or 6 yards. Unsure why some people continuously keep harping on this as if there is something wrong. Nothing is wrong, it's just an offense that isn't designed to rack up huge YAC numbers. Allen hit Davis in stride 35 yards downfield in the corner of the endzone yesterday but got 0 YAC yards. Would it have made you feel better if his arm was weaker and he hit him at the 12 yard line and he picked up 10 YAC yards to the 2 before being shoved out of bounds and then they had to settle for a FG? Essentially...stop trying to manufacture problems that aren't actually problems.
  20. Raiders only running 39 plays kind of helped lower the numbers tho as well...
  21. Howell was to blame tho, on that White INT. Even on the broadcast the color commentator said that was a young QB mistake...that once Tre kept outside leverage on the route McLaurin was running Howell should have immediately moved off him and looked elsewhere because that route was dead at that point in terms of where you want to go with the ball and that the coverage dictated it go elsewhere. Said that it made it too easy for White to jump the route with that positioning, which is ultimately what happened.
  22. Disrupt Tua's first read. Disguise coverages and make him think he has someone open that isn't really open.
