Watched another video where a former College and NFL QB(lots of teams, practice squads, etc, no NFL games) and he called the defense "33 Weak"? It's the first play breakdown in the video and he talks about it for like 5 minutes. Is that something similar to what you are saying?

Yeah...but at the end of the day it's a business. Tre is everything that is right with the Bills...hard working guy who was McD's first player selected to help turn this franchise around and he has taken that role very seriously and embraced it. Honestly, if the Bills do cut him I think McD will probably shed a few tears with him when they have to tell him while hugging him and telling him how much he appreciates everything he has meant to them and to him personally. Fair points. They could definitely use an upgrade on the boundary, which was what Elam was supposed to be and at times appeared like he was going to be last year and then inexplicably can't get on the field this year and when he does it's been mostly bad.

Well...I mean Poyer dropped 2 INTs last game and Tre dropped a pick 6 against Miami, Milano dropped a pick 6 earlier in the year, Taron Johnson dropped an INT...they are guys who regularly make those plays, so it's not like they haven't been in position to get more INTs than they have, they just dropped the ball. Literally.

I wouldn't say they rely on them as much as they are a byproduct of playing exceptional team defense that forces teams to execute at a very high level on offense to beat them and their ability to disguise coverages with post snap rotations very well. For long stretches of time, their pass D was a virtual "No Fly Zone" where 200 yards against them was the equivalent of 300 yards versus other teams.

Out of all the positions the Bills could have drafted in the first round with McD's history of getting good CB play from literally street FA's, Tre being his first pick ever and turning into an all-pro at the position and McD basically being a DB whisperer, if you would have told me they were going to take a CB in the first round and he would never see the field for them in his 2nd year, espeically when a 6th round CB in the SAME draft IS starting, I would have told you that you were smoking something. Either Elam is really not very good or they have horribly mismanaged him in ways they haven't with any other DB they have ever had.

Hawks have great CB's that might now be even better if Williams can help them not have to cover as long.

And the Bills coulda put 70 on Miami. Who cares? I am talking about week in and week out on offense, the Bengals are a "good" offense but not a "great" offense. You look at who they have and you think they should score more points than they actually do most games. They have been beneath the Bills in scoring every year with far better weapons.

How many of those were runs from the shotgun? Handing him the ball at the 4 or 5 yard line in the shotgun?

I don't think people realize just how many plays a game the Bills run RPO's on...it's A LOT and it's far more varied and diverse than most teams in the NFL. See the breakdown I posted with JT O'Sullivan QB School from Week 8 against TB and he breaks down their RPO game quite a bit and is amazed and cannot heap enough praise on how exceptional it is from pretty much every standpoint.

Josh Allen is elite. I can't see how they are measurably better when Taylor has his offense looking like they belong in D III for the first month of every season. How about Joe Burrow not coming out in Week 1 every year and throwing for 82 yards or 4 INTs? Every year it's the same thing...dig themselves a big hole they have to climb out of. Good coaches don't have teams that do that on a consistent basis. Congrats he figures out how to fix it, but how about not having the issue every year to begin with?

Bills have never been great tacklers and seem to focus on getting more people around the ball versus making 1 on 1 tackles. I'd bet most of their missed tackles come on run plays where they sometimes have 3 or 4 guys not bring a guy down and then the final guy brings him down. Seems to happen on runs where they stretch out the RB a lot behind the LOS.

I'd say 90% probably don't. They see some highlights one week of a team that looks great and scores a ton and then think that's how they are every week. The NFL doesn't work like that. Never has, never will. It's a week to week league with very little carryover from games one week to games the next week. Injuries, matchups, schemes, etc are all different week to week. Thinking one team should do "X" because they did that to some other team and thinking that will carry over to the next game doesn't make much sense. And for all the Bengal skill position players, they always seem to leave you thinking they should score far more points than they actually do.

Yes, pretty much all the games on TV with a laptop streaming another game that looks good.
