  1. We didn't have a first round draft pick this year. Maybe asking why Arizona's first round pick, number 4 overall, and widely considered the best receiver coming out in the draft in a decade or more was hardly involved would be the better question? Anytime you are basing what is going to happen the entire year based on a single game, let alone the first game of the season, it's an overreaction. Because this team, like many others, bases what they do week to week on the best matchups they feel they can exploit against the weaknesses of the other team. That doesn't mean they are going to be right, or that what they think will actually work, and they then may have to adjust in game, but that's the way it works.
  2. My all time favorite is still breaking Sneed's ankle on that juke move on the 4th down run in the playoffs to convert and then he leaps over the safety on the sidelines going out of bounds.
  3. I see it as Bills +1.5 where are you seeing 8.5? The highest I see is Caeser's Sports book at Bills +2, the other 7 are all Bills +1.5. Bills haven't lost by more than 6 points since November 2021, I would bet a lot of money on that line.
  4. Really? Considering how Allen owns the Fins I wouldn't be so sure. It's week 1...stop overreacting like 90% of people do. Pretty much a throwaway game since nobody really has any game film on anyone.
  5. And they still put up 34 points and averaged over 6 yards a play 😂
  6. They played pretty well with him out in the 2nd half. I expect the Bills D will have some bad moments thru the mid point of the year until they settle in more and Bishop starts to see the field
  7. And yet we gave up 270 yards total, 4.3 yards per play and 162 yards Passing. Do you actually watch other NFL games to see how their defense plays? I mean that's pretty good in today's NFL regardless of how things looked at first. Another example of the disconnect Bills fans have on defense about how "bad" our D was but not on how it compares to other teams.
  8. No...it goes on a per play basis using EPA on passing plays.
  9. Unlikely...he was drilling 50+ yard kicks in pregame. And on short yardage, the better option is always for Allen to go for it. Hard to fault McD for "not trusting the kicker" when Allen is virtually an automatic first down.
  10. Olsen was the best of the bunch...
  11. DeShaun Watson is trash and has been nothing but below average since he has been with the Browns. Not sure which is worse...his trade or the Russ Wilson trade for the Broncos...both will go down as hugely horrible trades
  12. Burrow is average in the playoffs. His D and ST helps him a lot.
  13. Not even close. Just look at the playoffs. The only QB on Josh's level is Mahomes and if he didn't have Reid and Chris Jones making clutch plays on D virtually every playoff game late to preserve victories, probably wouldn't have 3 SBs. Mahomes is great no doubt about it. But I think Allen is his equal, he just doesn't get the help Mahomes has gotten from his D in the playoffs. If anything Allen gets shafted by both the D and ST.
  14. Is that new? They always make things harder than they need to be it seems. Groot is about to change that narrative I think. Von Miller about to look like Nostradamus with his analysis of him when he first got here.
  15. Browns have 1 first down with under 3 minutes left in the 1st half. How long before the Browns realize that Watson is holding them back on offense and has been God Awful since he has been there?
  16. They beat us last year.
  17. Not me...I'd never take the Bengals week 1...Burrow is historically awful in the first month of the season and especially in week 1.
  18. Allen authored his own version of the Gettysburg Address today... "4 scores and 7 years ago..." 😂
  19. Yes because he has often said in press conferences when things don't look good...like with Milano last year and DaQuan
  20. Bass looked good other than that crap kickoff out of bounds.
  21. It's kind of expected from them isn't it based on their 13-2 record since Allen has been here?
  22. Yeah Bills allowed under 100 yards of offense in the 2nd half. Basically Arizona's offense was that kick return TD in the 2nd half
  23. Would be concerned if it was a day game. Since it's after sun down I have no real concerns.
  24. No updates from McD in press conference on injuries, said it's too early for him to have any real info...did say it's Taron's forearm tho which we already knew.
