  1. Every other game? You realize the Bills D has been among the best in the NFL for the last 4 years and the Bills average win is by double digits over that time?
  2. No, but would have liked to see more outside runs with Cook, or pitches.
  3. Watson is simply terrible now as QB and has been his whole time in Cleveland. Crazy their offense always looks better with backup QBs than with Watson.
  4. We did starting off and at times in the 2nd half. Had a lot of carries in the 2nd half that went nowhere tho...Cook averaged 3.7 YPC for the game which was surprising honestly
  5. The only thing they need to do is win games. Full stop. Period. Doesn't matter how. Nothing else matters. The Chiefs Offense looked terrible for much of last year and it didn't matter as they won the Super Bowl anyway. In the NFL, nothing matters other than wins and losses, and especially what happens in the playoffs. People looking for style points constantly are oblivious to what actually matters.
  6. Mostly happens when a ball obviously hits the ground and it's ruled a catch(happened during the Browns game) or a player is obviously out of bounds and it's ruled a catch. I am sure that's what so many thought with Brady against the Bills too
  7. Agree to an extent, but they moved the ball pretty well...I am sure Kincaid will get plenty of targets over the season. Likely matchup related.
  8. I find it hard to believe that if it was anything more than a sprain/bruise that he would have been allowed to continue and/or not have gone in for X-Rays during the game.
  9. I think the D was in tough early in the year and especially in tough when Taron went down early and losing Milano again for most of the year. Expect the D to round into form by mid season...but the issue I have with this board is we treat "league average" defense as "worst in the NFL by a mile" defense. And today overall, they were above average. They allowed 270 yards total, 4.3 yards per play and 162 yards Passing. Sure, would have liked to see them look better in the first half, but overall they recovered nicely and finished pretty strong. Special teams is meh...they should never kick short again ever. I know the wind kinda didn't give them much choice tho on that return.
  10. We didn't have a first round draft pick this year. Maybe asking why Arizona's first round pick, number 4 overall, and widely considered the best receiver coming out in the draft in a decade or more was hardly involved would be the better question? Anytime you are basing what is going to happen the entire year based on a single game, let alone the first game of the season, it's an overreaction. Because this team, like many others, bases what they do week to week on the best matchups they feel they can exploit against the weaknesses of the other team. That doesn't mean they are going to be right, or that what they think will actually work, and they then may have to adjust in game, but that's the way it works.
  11. My all time favorite is still breaking Sneed's ankle on that juke move on the 4th down run in the playoffs to convert and then he leaps over the safety on the sidelines going out of bounds.
  12. I see it as Bills +1.5 where are you seeing 8.5? The highest I see is Caeser's Sports book at Bills +2, the other 7 are all Bills +1.5. Bills haven't lost by more than 6 points since November 2021, I would bet a lot of money on that line.
  13. Really? Considering how Allen owns the Fins I wouldn't be so sure. It's week 1...stop overreacting like 90% of people do. Pretty much a throwaway game since nobody really has any game film on anyone.
  14. And they still put up 34 points and averaged over 6 yards a play 😂
  15. They played pretty well with him out in the 2nd half. I expect the Bills D will have some bad moments thru the mid point of the year until they settle in more and Bishop starts to see the field
  16. And yet we gave up 270 yards total, 4.3 yards per play and 162 yards Passing. Do you actually watch other NFL games to see how their defense plays? I mean that's pretty good in today's NFL regardless of how things looked at first. Another example of the disconnect Bills fans have on defense about how "bad" our D was but not on how it compares to other teams.
  17. No...it goes on a per play basis using EPA on passing plays.
  18. Unlikely...he was drilling 50+ yard kicks in pregame. And on short yardage, the better option is always for Allen to go for it. Hard to fault McD for "not trusting the kicker" when Allen is virtually an automatic first down.
  19. Olsen was the best of the bunch...
  20. DeShaun Watson is trash and has been nothing but below average since he has been with the Browns. Not sure which is worse...his trade or the Russ Wilson trade for the Broncos...both will go down as hugely horrible trades
  21. Burrow is average in the playoffs. His D and ST helps him a lot.
  22. Not even close. Just look at the playoffs. The only QB on Josh's level is Mahomes and if he didn't have Reid and Chris Jones making clutch plays on D virtually every playoff game late to preserve victories, probably wouldn't have 3 SBs. Mahomes is great no doubt about it. But I think Allen is his equal, he just doesn't get the help Mahomes has gotten from his D in the playoffs. If anything Allen gets shafted by both the D and ST.
