Am I the only one where the sound cuts out after the reporter asks the question?? I hear the question and then when the player goes to answer the sounds goes mute. Comes back on when the next question is asked, then goes mute again. Happens like that for all interviews that are live streamed.

Yes, anyone going to IR is now eligible to come back after 4 weeks. Only caveat is a team can only have a maximum of 8 players return from IR in a season and the same player can only go to IR and return from it a maximum of 2 times. The 3rd time it is season ending.

Banged Up Bills speculated it sounded like a bone bruise that just wasn't healing well by continuing to try and play on it.

McVay explains pretty much exactly what I said: https://heavy.com/sports/los-angeles-rams/sean-mcvay-coin-toss/ I would suspect the gap would be greater if anything.
-
1) McD said its been several weeks 2) It certainly didn't help but that isn't the only reason. 3) No, but the injury doesn't need to be of any specific severity to add them. At this point in the season pretty much everyone qualifies for IR since they all have some sort of injury they are dealing with.

Yeah...dude has a future in bodybuilding if he wants post NFL career...that is just elite, elite genetics right there.

Thursday night football-Titans @ Steelers 8:15 Prime Video NFL+
Big Turk replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seeing if Levis can have a repeat performance is really the only reason to watch this game...otherwise would be a snooze fest most likely. -
Statistically it is backed up because teams will on average score an extra point when they defer kicks to the 2nd half and also have a 12% chance of stealing a possession. In all of the games I watched this year I think maybe once or twice did I see a team win the toss and take the ball first. It just almost never happens. https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/opening-kickoff-receive-or-defer/

If the Bills play their best, no team in the NFL, Bengals included can beat them.
-
Probably because over the last 3+ years they HAVE consistently far more than they haven't? Like most in the NFL during that time by a wide margin? Statistically they would have a pretty high chance of being right.

McD: "Ja'Marcus Ingram..." Beane: "He can't even spell his name properly let alone cover anyone!"

Locker Room fit/team buy-in.

LMAO! If he thinks this is bad just wait...

I agree the D has hurt them since the injuries...it seems like McD figured something out with using Poyer in a dime LB role with Rapp taking his spot at safety...they looked a lot better on D and Poyer had a few INTs he dropped, including a housecall. With Joseph and Douglas shoring up their biggest opportunities I think they have the ability to get back to being closer to the beginning of the year...likely not top 3, but certainly can be top 10.

I mean you want to point out how the Bills suck because they can't stop "x" so I pointed out what other QB's we made look terrible have done to quality defenses. Or does it only work the way you try to do it in a single direction? It's funny that the Bengals offense is "so" good but never has been above the Bills in scoring offense since Burrow has entered the league with FAR better talent at the skill positions(at least according to the vast majority of posters here), which I actually tend to agree with. At the end of the day the Bengals offense settles for field goals too much and usually leaves you wanting more...that is, the personnel they have suggests they should be far better than what they actually are.
-
Really? If by "a lot" you mean maybe 2% of the time or less, then sure...pretty much every game I watch(and I watch a lot of them), the team that wins the coin toss defers(except in OT of course). It gives you a known quantity you can use to your advantage(ie, getting the ball out of the half, taking more time to run clock so you have 2 possessions in a row) versus an unknown quantity(not knowing when you'll get the ball in the second half). Control of the ball ALWAYS beats chasing the ball, 100% of the time.
-
You can tell who actually watches more than just the last game a team played.
-
Unlikely. Pretty much any time a player gets an injury it qualifies them to go on IR, doesn't really matter the severity. At this point in the season, there probably isn't a single person that doesn't have some sort of injury where the team could get away with putting them on IR if they really wanted to.

We also made Sam Howell look terrible while the Eagles made him look like Joe Montana twice. It's a week to week league. Every game is different and it's own entity. Why people can't understand this I can't figure it out. They play once a week not 2-3-4 times a week like other sports that play 2-3-4-10x as many games.

Subbing Rasul for Dane Jackson basically gives the Bills the 3rd best trio of CB's in the NFL behind the Jets and Ravens instantaneously. Tremendous upgrade by Beane.

It's definitely a coach tweet if you can make your QB look great for 3 quarters and when it actually matters he sucks. That makes it even worse.

Josh Allen - DNP Wednesday Practice Designation
Big Turk replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently Tom Brady loves him some Josh Allen and doesn't want to see him running around as much...calls him "a f'ing stud' Does that mean we have to actually like Brady now?? First Gronk says he is a big Bills fan again after he retired and now this? Make it stop!! https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10095510-bills-josh-allen-responds-to-tom-bradys-advice-about-play-style-amid-injury-concern "I would love to see Josh save those for very special moments and special occasions to run the ball rather than to run the ball six minutes into the game on a second-and-6. Not that he shouldn't run, but when he does run, slide and make sure no one hits you because I don't ever want to see him get hurt and I want to see him out there playing out there because he's such a f'ing; stud...I want to see him play another 10 to 12 years and really see how he can maximize his potential." -
No, that was a fan page on Facebook that took a picture he posted on Instagram and added that to it.
