  1. I don't think it will be as high scoring as people think and I also think our D plays their best game of the year. They were embarrassed on National TV last week, they don't want that to happen again.
  2. Nope. They lost to the Colts. The Bills will be 4-1 versus common opponents as long as we beat the Jets. Even if they beat the Ravens they would have the same common opponent record. But Common Opponents is the 3rd tie breaker. Conference record is the 2nd.
  3. No it's not actually. I explained it better in one of the above posts. Essentially all things being equal it will be very hard for the Steelers to eclipse us if we both go 3-1 and our loss is to the Lions. If the Steelers lose to anyone other than Philly as one of those losses we would have the 2 seed due to better conference record. If the Steelers lose to Philly, then we go to the 4th tie breaker because conference record and common games would be the same. I don't know how strength of victory would shake out but I would guess Steelers would have that edge based on who they play coming up
  4. It's attributing to other Bills players being injured far more. Add Douglas to the long list of players Rapp has taken out from friendly fire. Don't think I have ever seen anything like it in all my years watching football. A player who is directly responsible for injuring so many of his teammates from reckless and often times completely unnecessary hits. Although he has played very well this year, Bills may think it's not worth the added injuries he keeps adding every year he has been here and move on.
  5. Williams is the most sure tackling LB we have had in a long time tho... That's not nothing.
  6. The players are fully behind it because it ends up adding more zero's to their bank accounts in the end.
  7. Who cares what his grade is after 2 games, one of them being in the snow where it's almost impossible to get anything meaningful from it? If you are wanting an answer to this question it won't likely be known until next year at the earliest.
  8. In what universe would someone think that a player who hasn't played in almost 2 years simply steps back in and resumes playing as if nothing happened? It's mind boggling that anyone could actually think this is possible. Believing what happens on Madden is real life is definitely a major problem these days. This topic makes no sense on its face because nobody can know until he gets enough games played under his belt.
  9. See my post above. First tie break with them would be conference record and then if tied common games. I break down both scenarios in that post, but effectively we would have a very good chance to win both those tie tie-breakers. Their schedule is brutal the last 4 games, our is about as easy as you could get after Detroit.
  10. Yes. Only within the division. Otherwise it's conference record as the first tie break, then common games.
  11. No the first tie break among teams not playing each other and not in the same division is record within the conference. Then it goes to record in common games. If Bills lose to the Lions then win out, our conference record will be 10-2. Steelers would have to lose to the Eagles and then win the other 3 games to match that at 10-2. If their one loss is to an AFC team then we get the 2 seed in this scenario since their conference record would be 9-3. Let's assume conference record is the same and it goes to common games. Currently Steelers have a 2-1 record in common games with us beating the Ravens and Jets and losing to the Colts. If we beat the Jets again and the Steelers lose to either the Chiefs or Ravens we would then have that tiebreaker as well since we would have a 4-1 record with our only loss being to the Ravens and they would at best be 3-2.
  12. Steelers schedule is brutal. I can't see them doing any better than 2-2. Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens and Bengals.
  13. Maybe but that alone can't be responsible for going from 0 star recruit to best player ever.
  14. It's always fascinating to me how scouting is such an imperfect science. Allen was a 0 star recruit and might be the best football player of all time. How could so many scouts and talent evaluators get it so wrong?
  15. Agree...Deion's teams are largely teams with a lot of talent that are bad at fundamental football and details which is why they usually get steamrolled by good teams that have those things dialed in. BB won't have it...and he is going to have to adjust somewhat because how he was in the NFL isn't going to work in college. But he will still likely have players flocking to play for him and be coached by one of the greatest coaches of all time and a living legend.
  16. This is after already tearing the ACL in his other knee his rookie year in the 2nd preseason game. So he will have a completely reconstructed right knee and a reconstructed ACL in his left knee. Also is expected to probably miss the entire season next year as well and not be ready til the 2026 season.
  17. It doesn't matter...that was a 1 win team going nowhere that nobody cared about, not even the people in Colorado when he got there.
  18. I am going to guess we get one of the best games of the year for the D. That might mean holding them to 24-27 but we should be able to score more than that. Their defense has not faced anyone of Allen's caliber this year
  19. If Allen has broke the record for most TDs in NFL history thru the first 8 seasons of a career in under 7 seasons and he still doesn't win MVP then they literally need to open an investigation of the MVP voters for collusion and bribery because at this point they are simply refusing to give Allen the MVP no matter what he does. How absurd is it to think the player who has had the most TDs in the history of the NFL thru his 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th seasons, the player who leads the NFL all-time in touchdowns/game and one who constantly is doing things nobody else has ever done before and breaking all time records like it's childs play somehow has never been MVP?
  20. I remember watching that play live and his knee looked like a "swinging gate" and I almost puked. Second nastiest thing I've seen live in sports after the Clint Malarchik incident where I passed out.
  21. I mean look at how quickly Deion turned around Colorado even after the first year which was a near disaster. Year 2 they go 10-2 after being a 1 win team 3 years ago.
  22. How exactly? Kelce was coming off 2 years of over 80 catches and 1000 yards receiving. Sure those numbers went up with Mahomes but it's not like they doubled or tripled. Mahomes had a similar effect on Kelce as Allen had on Diggs in terms of stats. Did the Bills WR corp even have 1000 yards between them the prior year combined?
  23. Apparently @DrBob806 thinks Kelvin Benjamin, Robert Foster, Andre Holmes, Isaiah MacKenzie, Charles Clay and a few other traah WRs and TEs are the equal of Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins while being coached by Andy Reid since he rolled his eyes at my post above.
  24. Me too...because it would likely have to come from outside the organization this time which would mean that Allen will have to learn a completely new offense for the first time since his rookie year.
  25. HC are always responsible for a loss. It's their team. They ultimately bear the responsibility.
