  1. Maybe he could buy Cook better gloves to catch easy TDs
  2. Does he? I think Hurts might have tied him with he extra TO today.
  3. What good would extra time outs do in that situation? You are working against the clock not lack of TOs
  4. I will want to see how he looks the last few games once tendencies are out on him and DC's have a chance to get a better feel for what he will try and do in certain situations. Right now he is essentially operating with a clean slate and it's the easiest time he will ever have to look good. Not saying he won't continue, just saying we don't know and likely might not for the rest of the year.
  5. Allen thought he ran the wrong route, which usually means he ran the wrong route.
  6. Because as much as people want to act as if "luck" plays no part in these situations, it actually probably plays the majority of it. Which is something YOU don't seem to want to admit despite piles of evidence and years of data showing that teams who are great in these situations one year are usually terrible the next. What has changed? Usually not much...just that year their kicker doesn't make the most improbable FG of the year, they don't have the opponent drop easy TD's or miss easy FG's and don't have the WR turn the wrong way on another easy TD.
  7. They are not tanking. They didn't even do that in the first year when everyone thought they were.
  8. The offense has looked very good under Brady...however, until tendencies are able to be gotten on him that doesn't necessarily mean a lot...if we have some dud offensive games at the end of the year that might be the DC's catching up with him.
  9. Allen threw a TD to Davis who ran the wrong way. All he had to do is run the same route he ran in the playoffs against KC that led to the 13 seconds debacle. It's not like he hasn't run that before.
  10. All I am saying is it would be nice to even have 50% of the "luck" other teams seem to have in these situations. The Eagles just won last week because MVS dropped a wide open TD pass in the endzone after having his defender beat by like 5 steps. But I am sure it was a "great coaching job" by Sirianni to dial up a mirror in his pocket that he shone in MVS's eyes at the perfect time for him to drop that ball. When do we get some of that in these games?
  11. Catch a perfect ball for a TD, run the right routes twice, make easy FGs?
  12. No joke, the game reminded me of the Patriot Brady games and the "Just Give It To Them" game. I don't even know what to say it was so one-sided and bad. Bills got a few calls late almost as "make up" calls like in hockey when the refs call like 4 or 5 straight penalties against one team...you know the first thing they can do to call a penalty on the other team they are calling...
  13. They likely reviewed it quickly and decided the call would stand...it's called an Express booth review and usually happens when there is clear evidence to either overturn or let it stand without going thru a review
  14. If it was just that then fair...the number of easy plays the Bills had to end the game was immense. Kickers making a kick in those conditions from 60 yards with a likely 3% chance of making it goes wide or short against every other team except us.
  15. Sometimes you just have to think it's just not your year and the football gods simply use their fingers to control things at key times so that no matter what, you can't win. That's pretty much where I am at. Sometimes as a fan just have to shrug and say it's not our season. The improbable losses to bad teams...the improbable plays leading to losses in this game...basic stuff that we fail to do at certain times that they do in their sleep normally... Just have to shake my head and laugh sometimes.
  16. I would be willing to bet the chance of making that kick when factoring in weather conditions was under 5%. Hell....maybe under 3%.
  17. And Cook dropped a wide open TD pass and we had to punt instead
  18. I mean...I dunno what to say...all they had to do is make a single play out of these easy freebies and the game is over. James Cook dropping a TD Bass missing 2 FG's(1 was blocked) Hyde turning his head around and not allowing a "Hail Hurts" that for all intents and purposes looked exactly like the "Hail Murray". Gabe Davis not turning the wrong way against a blitz that would have led him to an easy TD Another game where the Bills had to beat themselves via dumb plays and penalties(many of which the refs gave the Eagles as gifts as well as many no calls against them). Put up 505 yards against the Eagles...there is NO WAY they should have lost this game.
  19. I mean who the hell makes a 60 yard FG in the rain and wind except against the Bills? I'm not sure how many crazy, impossible FG's the Bills have had made against them over the years, but it has to be far more than any other team. It's craziness...and you sit there and watch all these other games and the same kicks aren't even close to being made. I just don't understand it. This just is not our year...I don't even know what else to say at this point.
  20. I dunno...the worst part is all he had to do is run the route he ran against KC late in the 4th quarter in the playoffs and they win the game...like he already knows what to run against that blitz.
  21. Bills have more impossible FG attempts made against them than anyone else and its not close...been happening for years even during the drought years
