Helps when you have the refs in your pocket. Ask the Raiders about the Tuck Rule they trotted out just for him that nobody ever heard of. Or Bills fans about the refs being caught on the hot mic saying "Just give it to them"
-
Helps when your opponent miraculously fumbles a 1st and goal handoff from the 1 yard line without anyone touching him. How does that stuff never happen for the Bills?
-
Pretty much true...they have scored 20 or fewer points 8 times this year. With Mahomes, Kelce and an offensive genius in Reid that's about as bad as it gets.

Bills will probably be #3 or #2 seed if they win out
Big Turk replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lamar has never performed well in the playoffs. When the lights are the brightest and stage is the biggest he plays his worst. KC has been abysmal on offense in at least half their games. They are simply a bad offense at this point carried by their D. If their D wasn't top 5 this year they likely would have a losing record. -
Issues with espn playoff machine?

The Bills broke it -
I'd feel better if someone that acts like an expert all the time knew basic stuff.

I believe so yes...

What do you mean? If the Ravens win they would be 12-3 and a loss to the Fins would mean they have the same record at 12-4 heading into week 18 and lose the tie breaker against them.

Bring it.

I love someone not knowing a basic rule that's been in place for 30 years or more then act like it's on everyone else. SMFH

Turnovers - The Bills Achilles Heel (Statistical Overview)
Big Turk replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
At least the Bills TOs rarely lead to defensive TDs. -
We are mad the Bills almost lost when literally every other team ACTUALLY lost other than the Fins.
-
No, the #2 seed must be a division winner. The top wildcard gets the 5 seed. C'mon man, that's basic.
-
Anyone who says a team "should" win from this point forward should be immediately banned until the Super Bowl ends based on the number of times these teams have lost those games the last 3 weeks.

Their offense has been terrible...Mahomes running for his life every play, nobody is open, threw a pick 6 and another terrible one that got overturned on review. Went for it on 4th down twice in Raider territory and turned over on downs both times. They are losing but deserve to be losing worse if the Raiders could do anything on offense.
-
Chiefs offense is terrible...KC will be losing in the first round if they don't figure this out.

Honestly think the Bills struggle to use players in creative ways that play to their strengths. Doesn't look good that outside of Diggs receivers typically do better in other places and do worse here. They struggle to scheme players open consistently relying on players "winning" their routes far more often than others teams force players to do this. We can keep blaming the receivers that come in but at some point we have to look at how they are being used and if they are being put in the best positions to succeed on the field. Sadly, many times the answer here is they don't.

Kickers are 26/27 in FGs against us this year
Big Turk replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall
Normalize kickers for the weather and lengths of FG and then let's talk. The current way of viewing them doesn't tell us much. When one kicker has 8 home games in a dome, another 3 road games in a dome and only 2 games where they deal with any sort of weather and others, especially Bass, who deal with crazy swirling winds even on "good days" at home it creates a pretty uneven playing field. -

Big Turk replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall
The weather channel created a "worst weather" city index for NFL teams and the Bills won by a very wide margin over 2nd place Green Bay. -
I'll buy the $27 ones from DH Gate...great quality, same heavy jersey material, cannot tell the difference between them.
-
In a game with small margins with closely matched teams it is absurd to think a play here or there that goes you way one week but against you the next week couldn't tilt the outcome one way or the other. Or a refs call/non-calls in a crucial situation sometimes due to interpretation differences between crews.

Doug Williams was garbage. The man had a career completion percentage of 49%. Give me a break. He had the game of his life in the SB. Congrats. One good game doesn't make you great. So did Mark Rypien, anyone talk about him like that?
