  1. I don't usually believe in conspiracy theories, but I agree with you on this one...
  2. I'll steal the running gag from Why So Serious? Coochie Coochie!
  3. Great analysis, Dr. Trooth... I've said in some other threads that I think it comes down to Kuechly or Floyd... Kuechly seems to be a Bills type of guy and Floyd has some prior arrests that might hurt his stock. I'm not sure if Kuechly is Clay Matthews, but he looks like a highly instinctive, productive LB with great potential... Most tackles in BC and ACC history in only 3 years and had 191 tackles last season (2 behind the all-time record).
  4. I voted for Kuechly, but I feel its a toss up between him and Floyd. I don't believe Blackmon or Richardson will be there. And Nix history here and in SD says he does not pick OL in the first round. There's always a first for everything, but the OT choices Nix will have at #10 come with question marks on whether they can be LTs in the NFL. The only issue Floyd may have is his past arrests... The Bills seem to go high-character a majority of the time. Kuechly seems like the type of player this organization looks for and their defensive front 7 could be very strong if they take him.
  5. I agree with you on Kuechly and I believe it could come down to him or a WR like Michael Floyd... Considering Nix seems to take BPA and the fact that like Peanuts said, Nix does draft SEC and ACC, its hard to know what he'll do. As far as offensive line, that is certainly a need too.. This article makes a lot of sense, however, on the track record and philosophy Nix takes toward OL. link As far as more defensive help, that's all well and good and I think Kuechly could be one of the best picks. But Nix has put an emphasis on defense in the last 2 drafts, particularly last year with 7 out of 9 picks. To me, there should be more balance this year going to both sides. There's no doubt that the offense needs more talent for the passing game and pass protection.
  6. He owns several franchise records as a punt returner actually... Parrish Stats The above quote doesn't mention that he's also tied with Keith Moody for most punt return TDs in Bills history (both have 3 TDs)..
  7. Its still March right..?
  8. This has been a couple of batsh** crazy days in the NFL...
  9. That's a good question on Troup... I wonder if the 3-4 will get much play, with a new 4-3 base and, as Kelsay stated a while back in an article, the fact that they've played a lot of nickel with a 4 man front.. Not sure what they might be thinking with some of the obvious 3-4 guys or possible hybrid scheme altogether.. I would hope they still use the 3-4 in certain scenarios.
  10. If this ends up being the case, its a smart move.. I think they should hold onto Kelsay, unless they can't justify it over saving cap space.. The rotation with Kelsay, Anderson, Johnson (if he stays), Carrington, the two Williams, Dareus and others could be amazing if they have good luck with health this season.
  11. Very happy to hear this... This is a big need filled.. Our DL and pass rush should be much improved this year!
  12. I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm not so sure its a good thing for the Bills having to face this guy twice a year.. Especially if he becomes the starter, which is entirely possible. Just sayin'...
  13. Better than Manning, Brady and Rogers in TD scoring percentage in the red zone, eh? Stat from ESPN article
  14. Amen! Add to that his punt return records and he's a good signing for reasonable money: buffalobills.com link
  15. The kid is one hell of a punt returner... and based off of Gailey's offense, he could definitely be in on particular scenarios.. If he's signed at a decent price, he's worth it in my opinion.. 4 yr $15 million w/$2million signing bonus for gadget player Brad Smith, but we can't sign someone like Parrish to a low risk contract..?
  16. No, no, no... You'd get fish and loaves...
  17. I'm only asking for $50 million guaranteed... and a turkey.
  18. Boys, boys, boys... God would say yes...
  19. You gotta wonder if Manning and Harbaugh's egos would have clashed... Then you throw Randy Moss into that equation too and it could have been a ticking timebomb. Maybe the Broncos are the better fit..
  20. Wow... interesting... I thought his best shot for another Lombardi trophy might be with the 49ers, but the Broncos should be a good option as well. I just wonder how much John Fox's run-oriented conservative scheme will clash with Manning's need to audible and throw at every opportunity. We shall see...
  21. Why the hell would the Bills want to help the Patriots in any way, shape or form..? They've been killing us for how long?
