I would like to formally apologize
MikeInABQ replied to cantstopbeastmode's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Takes a man to admit when he was wrong. This board, just like every other message board in existence, is sorely lacking those types. Kudos to the OP, and I concur. I never wished Trent would lose the starting job because personally I didn't like JP that much, either, but I, too, after last week's debacle of a game, thought the team hadn't really made that many strides in the right direction. Tonight's game showed me that they really might have, and I'm definitely happy to eat crow if my comments last week were taken as "doomsday" statements by the blowhards, experts, and eternal optimists here. Mmmmm, crow, tastes good. And there's plenty, seeing that I'm one of like three people here man enough to grab some when we are shown up. And !@#$ you if you have something negative to say to me now, Biscuitboy. -
I'm just as surprised that nobody was kissing Royal's ass. The Bills finally have a tight end threat. What has it been, like 15 years? Big WHEWWWWW here.
-
Not a huge fan of this Omon kid, but Wright totally ruined a GREAT performance, AGAIN, with that dumb fumble. He's easily fumbling himself onto the first cut list, and that stinks, because I even like his running better than Jackson's.
-
Dude shoulda just retired and gone away. He sucks. The second I heard it was him and Bentley calling the game, I knew I was gonna hear more mis-pronounced names, a bunch of anti-Bills calls (like on McKelvin's TD when he immediately wanted to call a "flag" for clipping when there was none), and just plain bad reporting ("Toronto doesn't have a team, so there are plenty of potential Bills fans there".....um, Steve, Argonauts, look 'em up, stupid)... I swear, I used to like this guy. His legacy was a great one. Now he's just a jerk.

Luke Russert's ESPN Article...
MikeInABQ replied to buckeyemike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All I know is, if the Bills are moved out of Buffalo, after all the people begging Ralph to sell before he dies, I'll be the first guy to drop trou and crap right on that old !@#$'s grave. Not even joking. -
Our O-Line needed to do a better job and so did our D-Line. Still waiting for the investments to even SHOW themselves. How about a freaking pass rush, maybe, this decade, and some actual HOLES for Marshawn? Please?

I think they answered that for you tonight. No.

How Did Our Future Hall of Famer Paul Poz Play?
MikeInABQ replied to sleaky72's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He looked like a guy who missed a full season of football. -
When will the 'Start JP NOW!!!" surface..
MikeInABQ replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hamdan was the most poised guy out there tonight. Three of JPs completions could have gone for 30 more yards if they weren't eggs. Trent looked like doggie doo. Hamdan threw some good passes, and you know they were good because otherwise shaky and ill-equipped Fourth Stringers had them hit them right in the numbers. Impressed with that guy. -
Convoluted explanation for what, exactly? My praise for his ability to sustain four-play drives that start in te Red Zone? He did fantastic in that regard, and I said so. Did I sound like a "hater" to you?

Hate to say it but.......Ive gotta, " Bills OL"
MikeInABQ replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Believe me, Peters ain't depressed after watching tonight's game. His B.S. tactics just got a major boost. The fat tub might actually get MORE money, FASTER, now. -
Has the "I can predict the season from one half
MikeInABQ replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BINGO. Forgot the conspicuous lack of pass rush, though. Otherwise spot-on. -
JP's awesome on drives that start at the opposition's 20. Trent did not impress. Hamden was surprisingly poised and easily the most accurate passer we had tonight.
-
I make it a rule not to take anyone seriously who uses pics of hot babes in their avatars that aren't them. And the Bills' First Team Defense made our First Team Offense look actually good, if that's even possible. I make no predictions other than this, if they don't drastically improve at ALL areas, the Bills won't come NEAR the expectations of the most optimistic posters or media members and will be lucky to finish ahead of Miami.
-
This game will certainly play well for the Peters camp, that's for damn sure.
-
I'll add to this: We still have no pass rush. And from First String to Third, the D-Line left FAR too much room for the Skins RBs.
-
Didn't look that way to me. But as bad as the O-Line looked, the Defense as a whole looked TEN TIMES as bad. Pure crap out there. Funny, the team didn't look good at ALL tonight, except a couple throws from Hamdan. THAT guy looked poised. If the Bills could play the entire game on Special Teams, we might stand a chance this season. But unless they drastically improve from what they showed us tonight, or had their real tricks in the bag, we are gonna have another LONG season.

Goodell won't reinstate Favre
MikeInABQ replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you!!!! So nice to see someone with a brain. Favre is lucky the Packers are even talking to him, after the crap he's pulled. And the Union can kiss my blue collar butt, the pack of assmunches. -
On second thought I am liking Peters strategy now
MikeInABQ replied to Pyrite Gal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who cares anyway? All that's important is that the fat lard better not be injured, and he better be in PERFECT game shape if and when he decides to come back. Because if he comes back NOT in shape he's no better than Chambers or Walker. If I were the Bills I'd be inviting any and all FA Left Tackles to camp, because this is getting stupid now. Look how quick they replaced Bowen. This is what they need to do here. -
The Problem with this Franchise...

I wonder how long Green Bay's gonna give their new guy if he stinks. -
Peters may be willing to sit all season
MikeInABQ replied to scribo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard from a reliable source that they spotted Peters hiding out in a cave in northern Pakistan. -

I think you're thinking sentence, not deal. -
Personally, I'm numb. None of the other players has ever handled their contract issues well, IMO. Bunch of big whiny fat azzholes. I used to laugh at people who liked college football better than pro. I was clueless (that and the fact that UB was crap). Now I can't wait to see the Lobos play their home opener August 30th, and I could really give a rat's ass about these rich nancys. Don't get me wrong, I started posting here a few weeks ago with the thought that this could be an exciting year for the Bills, and it still can be, but my love of these players has taken a huge hit after reading that thread about Peters from front to back, and seeing how all of them, since Bruce Smith and beyond, have all acted like total assbags when someone next to them got a bigger salary than they did. I mean, what a totally destructive CBA. Shameful. !@#$ it. I'm half tempted to drop my Sunday Ticket and sleep in on Sundays now. Buncha dicks.

Peters may be willing to sit all season
MikeInABQ replied to scribo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Being more acquanited at this point with the Sabres than I am with the Bills, all I have to say, after reading all these posts about how each player "handled" seeing another player get more money than they were currently getting.......this CBA does nothing but breed petulant babies in football uniforms. I always wondered why I hated the atmosphere surrounding football players since the mid-80s. The bargaining agreements are 100% fuc ked. I'm surprised we don't see more of these losers gracing the pages of Vogue and Teen Beat. Seriously, !@#$ all of them. -

The rich, arrogant boob has already been fined more money than I make in two years. I hate his guts. I say, let him rot and when he shows up grovelling, don't even waive the fines.
