In that case, it appears likely the Bills will draft a QB in the later rounds of hte 2009 draft. Losman will be off the books and it will probably be time to develop a worth backup to Edwards. Either that or we sign a veteran presence, but drafting a QB would probably be cheaper.

In all seriousness, Is Hamdan actually good? I mean I know he is a 3rd string QB, but if it weren't for Losman would he actually be a 2nd string QB? This is a serious question, I know nothing about him.

Fred Jackson is not Michael Turner! If you are a 4-1 team with a MAJOR HOLE at a position that every playoff worthy team needs to have filled, and you have a chance to make a deal for a Hall of Fame player who still has a few productive years left (and you don't have to part with a 1st or 2nd round draft pick)...YOU MAKE THE DEAL!

I am happy to trade Jackson for the right player. But, I can also see why a lot of Fans seem to be skeptical of a trade involving him. In reality I don't think the Bills will do it, simply because who will step in to fill his role? I doubt we will depend on a rookie who could be extremely good at some point, but remember he didn't even play against top competition in COLLEGE and he will be thrown into a nasty playoff race.

Its pointless to argue that JP sucks to people who disagree. They will never be convinced. I give up.

That was a great throw, but no one is talking about he was inches away from getting sacked. His only play is holding on to the ball too long and then just launching the ball. Luckily no one thought Losman could throw that far on the Cardinals. I want to see him make good, quick 15-20 yard passes and complete some third downs. I'd trade that in for 87 yard bombs mixed in with 3 and outs and QB induced sacks.

I agree. If he has a concussion it is because the guy hit him helmet to chin. I think that is probably worse than helmet to helmet.

Great game. It will be interesting to see how much our "stock" rises following this game. Either we will be the surprise team or the team that beat two "injury plagued teams" and the jury will still be out until we beat a healthy team. The AP is predicting the Jags will go 5-11 or something. Yea, OK, just because we beat them doesn't mean they are a bad team.

I think this game is far from over, though I do think when we couldn't get in the endzone on 1st and goal, that (like so often with the Bills over the past 3 years) took some steam out of our sails. What happened to our D-Line, I havent heard much about Stroud/Johnson/Schobel?

5-0 vs the Chargers would be amazing. The Bills would finally get the buzz they deserve. To be honest, I think the Bills can compete against any team this year and for the first time in a long time, they can go into any game with the potential to win.
