  1. The guy in front of me at the stadium says this game is done as the Bills stop Cousins at the goal line. He grabs his stuff and leaves. I wanted to tackle him but I was too late. We all know what happened after that. I blame it on him.
  2. I tried to remove it for about an hour last week. Now it's gone. Go figure.
  3. It happens to me. I'm on my Samsung phone.
  4. I just watched the game replay on the "holding" penalty against Dawkins. He pancaked the man so of course, the refs call holding. What a joke.
  5. They never call holding unless the Bills make a big play.
  6. That's better than the girl in front of us who blew chow over everyone in front of her. She was totally trashed, and ruined things for about a half dozen fans in front of her. Disgusting display.
  7. I'm just posting to see if this can get to 100 pages before we get the new stadium renderings.
  8. It's from the only teammate who I could out run. We were slow but we had fun.
  9. That's why he will never be a head coach again.
  10. It's like having the Cowboys in the NFC east. I guess they had to put them somewhere.
  11. Rule 11 (Scoring) of the NFL rulebook. I'm old and haven't figured out how to copy it from my phone.
  12. They changed that rule years ago (the Madden explanation). Many goal line replays look for the ball to either hit the pilon or be inside it.
  13. Looks like Fox has the double header game. They are forcing the big guns to do a 1 o'clock game. Wonder how long it will take to comment on the lack of snow.
  14. Regarding question 2, if you imagine the line to gain was the goal line, and there was a pylon on the sidelines next to the field of play, the football must travel inside the pylon to be a first down. Just as it would if the player were trying to score at the goal line, the ball must touch the pylon or be in the field of play. I believe the ball crossed the sidelines before reaching the line to gain. It's so difficult to see this on 2 dimensional tv, so it all depends upon the original call.
  15. #3 is not correct. The ball must either go over the pilon (or make contact with it) or cross the goal line in the field of play when a runner attempts to score. When a qb throws a pass, the ball is in bounds and passes the goal line in the field of play. If it is caught out of bounds, it has already passed inside the pilon.
  16. Wait! Isn't that Schweddy balls? No, that was last week. Ask Wilkins.
  17. I stayed off the board the entire game, just to change my luck. I'm not saying anything, but I won't be on during next weeks game either. Of course I'll be at the game so I'll be busy anyway. Go Bills!
  18. 63 passing plays without one last week. Conspiracy?
  19. Ya don't need it. Just remove it at halftime.
  20. When Winston muffed the snap, the ball hit the ground, he could not spike it. Tasker was saying that he still could have spiked it since it never hit the ground. Since the rules seem to change every year, it's hard to say.
  21. If McKenzie had just run forward instead of towards the sidelines, he would have saved 3 or 4 seconds. The refs could have spotted the ball and they would have only lost 2 or 3 yards. Players nowadays aren't coached to think. I'll probably get flamed, but I've seen Beasley make that play instead of killing clock. Oh well! Onto Baltimore.
  22. Well said. I have season tickets in the upper deck and Monday night the guy in front of me was late getting to the stadium so he and his pals decided to drink while they were in traffic. Needless to say, they were feeling no pain by the time they got to their seats. Unfortunately, the guy in front of me was doing his impersonation of a Mexican jumping bean. I couldn't enjoy half of the game because I never saw a complete play. After 38 years, I think this going to be my last year. With bad knees and a bad back, it's too tough to jump up and down like a 3 year old with adhd.
