Need to run to beat the Pats

I'd like to see Yeldon in the lineup too. A bit of speed to the outside looks like it's gashing NE today. -

What a gutless gameplan vs the Chiefs
fasteddie replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Weak zone defense, linebackers with no talent, and don't get me started on Jerry Hughes. 0 sacks through 6 games. He should be inactive the rest of the year. -

Does Hughes still play for the Bills? -
According to NFL network, Trent Murphy and Harrison Phillips will be inactive for today's game. Team wants to look at young players.

Should the Bills bring in Marcel Dareus?

Half of the defense looks like they already take too many plays off. He'd fit right in. -
We already have 2 Nancy's playing D end.

'Human Interest' stories in lieu of football
fasteddie replied to dorquemada's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's why I'd much rather watch the game in stadium. At least I know what is happening. Last night, they talked about a flag being thrown. Where was the flag? In the offensive backfield or defensive backfield? Just give us a clue instead of a close-up of some obscure player. -
Jests cut their 3rd rounder Polite
fasteddie replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BTW, did Polite say thank you when he got cut? Just wondering. -
I've had tix since '85 so I've seen the terrible, the great and the bad again. I'm holding out for one more year. I've been saying that since 2005. But DW talked about next year after the last game so I guess we'll be going for another year. Those 3 hour drives can get mighty long when you are 60+ yrs old though. Ed

Does Danny Crossman Survive This Year?
fasteddie replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
During warm-ups, the Jags punter was booming punts well above our heads (5th row upper deck) while Schmidt's punts hardly flew above the red seats. The only punt that had any hang time at all was punted into the end zone when he needed about 15 yds less distance. This has been a familiar occurrence for Schmidt throughout his tenure with the Bills. It's why he was replaced this season. I believe the only reason he is on the team is because he is an experienced holder for FG's & EP's. The lack of hang time makes it so hard for cover team to get downfield which makes them look so bad. Ed -

WOW!!! I didn't think it would happen this soon. Looks like the staff finally has seen what we've been seeing for the last 3 years. -
I think I'll gargle me some of Roger's gizzm.

How many touchdowns will TT throw this season?
fasteddie replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is Jay Jones ever gonna catch a football? He looks like Roberto Duran. It's going to be a long season...... Ed -
We live in the Southern Tier of NY and we had (and still have) season tickets. It usually takes us about 2 1/2 hours to drive to Orchard Park. However, there was a wicked freezing rainstorm that morning so we left earlier that usual to try to make it to the game. It took us one hour just to drive 10 miles, in which time we saw at least a dozen cars that were in the median or in a ditch succumbing to mother nature. We decided to turn around, limp back home, and watch the game on TV. After the first half, I decided to take a shower after getting an invitation from the in-laws for dinner. So after the second half interception, I felt it was over. But when the comeback started, I found myself watching the game with a towel wrapped around my midsection. By the end of the third quarter, I decided to tempt fate and get dressed (in my Bills gear, of course!) and watch the rest of the game. It makes me sick every time I think about how mother nature stole a part of Bills history from me. And no, I would not have left. Ed
