We had the Pitt game here. Ten minutes after the game was done, they finally switched to the Bills game. Of course, after the score and replays were done. Jerks!

I can see Stevenson being inactive, but having one TE is a head scratcher. I would think that they would run the ball more.

Driving home from the game, I often listen to Sirius radio broadcasts of NFL games. And I agree, many are terrible at best, and homers all the time. (We gotta do this, that, other things). About the best of the bunch was the Raiders crew.

I think the most important aspect of the game is the director. TV has the incessant tv show promos mid-play that makes any color persons' job difficult. A play occurs which has you scratching your head, and often a replay is shown on the next series, instead of immediately following the play. It could be worse. I was watching a Syracuse basketball game and there were 2 color commentators without a play by play man. What a cluster!

Since they changed the starting time, I'm going to stay home. Cold rain is a bit too much for these 66 year old bones. The 3 hr drive home doesn't help either. It sucks because I can't even give the tickets away.

Imagine what McKenzie's average would be if Andre Smith didn't get a penalty on almost every return in the first 2/3 of the season. It would have been comical if it were for any other team.

I was watching a sports discussion show (I can't remember which one), and one of the panelists explained that the pro bowl ballot is in alphabetical order. Voters will see the first name they recognize and vote accordingly. It sucks if your last name is Zippadeedoodah.

He was the same blind bat who missed the shirt pull on Diggs in the first half. But in his next game, he will throw a flag on a play 50 yards away. Too darn inconsistent. You have refs who work at their jobs all week long, then travel to a distant city, and the are expected to stay awake for 3 hours on Sunday. Either get full time refs or have another ref in the defensive backfield. On passes downfield, there are only 3 refs looking at all those players. They miss way too much.

The back judge must need a seeing eye dog to leave the field.

OMG! On two different posts, you state that Beasley was not open. Now you state that the pass was perfect. Davis was running a post, which takes his route diagonally through the endzone. When the ball was thrown, he was at the goal line. If it was a perfect pass, the ball would have been about 5 yds deep in the endzone. The ball was tipped well short of the goal line. Not only that, if you look at the replay, Davis had to stop his route because it was thrown well behind him. I think you watch too much Madden, and not enough live football.

Correct. Spencer Brown was 5 yards downfield blocking when the handoff was made. It was just another messed up play.
