  1. they are good RB's, not disputing that at all, however we needed a playmaker, and he fit that bill, so nothing wrong with that pick
  2. We had a need for an offensive playmaker, and Spiller fit that according to draft reports, so we did still fill a need on draft day
  3. We had other needs at the time, it wasn't a priority to get a pass rusher.. The examples you have are of good teams, who weren't trying or needing to fill multiple holes. It is totally different drafting from a position of luxury, instead of need
  4. Had the same thing done... it was a good thing and they did good work
  5. Don't own any, wouldn't be opposed to having one, but the wife isn't thrilled with the idea
  6. Look, I paid my dues and apologized for using that 5 year old as a football...... man, you couldn't throw a tight spiral with that kid no matter what
  7. agreed, you may have avoided some of the backlash if you had mentioned that earlier..... the first few posts made it seem like you were someone trying to be hard cause you were packing heat... thanks for clarifying....
  8. They are trained professionals, whose job it is to carry firearms and be ready to engage in a shootout at any time, you haven't identified yourself as such, and if you pulled out your weapon and discharged it at the game, as others have stated, there would have been mass confusion and fear, and people running for their lives.
  9. You don't know anything about me, so to answer it for you.... no I wouldn't. However just because you have a legal right to carry a weapon doesn't mean that any of the situations mentioned would be any better with you carrying. In fact, it could make it worse depending on how things turn out and how you react. More guns in a situation does not equal safer or smoother resolutions.
  10. I think you took the comments way out of context, regardless of anything, there really isn't a legitimate reason for a fan to be at a sporting event carrying a firearm.... its just not needed. I don't do any drugs, but however I will be more concerned with the guy in the stadium carrying a firearm than I would be with the parents who are smoking up in front of their kids
  11. Born in Niagara Falls, graduated LaSalle HS 1996, lived in North Tonawanda, and the West Side of Buffalo, just bought and moved into South Buffalo..... it is an awesome place
  12. As a long suffering Indians fan,RIP George, you built a great thing in NY, not just winning, but the model, and making the Yankees one of, if not the biggest things out there.... I was never a big fan of yours, but it is a sad day in Baseball... RIP
  13. hey no problem, I was probably a little sensitive over it, all around!!
  14. No, not my type at all, but for someone who has kids, I do have a problem with comments that make light of kiddie porn...so to me, i have no humor when it involves kiddie porn and I don't take it lightly. I'm not saying you do take it lightly, but you asked, so I am providing a reason for my outburst
  15. the guy was arrested for kiddie porn amongst other charges, I don't care who's payroll he is on.... that is just a moronic statement to make.
  16. +1 it was the classless way he handled it. He could have signed and moved on, but the primetime special was ridiculous, he should have just walked out with middle fingers blazing telling Cleveland to eat it..... it was an unprofessional move, and one that hopefully haunts him for a long time to come.
  17. Its news related to a guy who was/is in the NFL in some capacity... it is news... get over it
  18. I think the point that has people upset, like the OP is to have this primetime special, and may end up kicking Cleveland in the nuts.... The people of that area deserve better. If he isn't going to stay there, then there is no reason to hold a primetime special to crush the hopes and dreams of pretty much the entire state of OH.... If he isn't going to stay with Cleveland, there is no need to publicly announce it. There will be a huge backlash if he doesn't announce he is staying in Cleveland, and IMO it will be well deserved.
  19. mine too jack, I emailed the Bills and they said they should be forwarded, but if not to let them know in a couple of weeks and they will start to track them down.
  20. it ended, MJ is still dead
