Have you watched a game at all? seriously, while some have been bad, they all look to be working hard for success and i haven't been overly upset watching them

I would love to be there, too bad i will be working, I think this is the 3rd of 4 years of season tickets that I will miss the home opener.....Well, country before football... wish I could be there to finally meet a lot of you, maybe one of the other games...

I don't think Dungy is totally off base here though, in the simplest part of things, he is basically saying if we have a player conduct code, why isn't the same thing enforced for the coaches? I swear like a sailor, however i'm in agreement, how can the NFL portray themselves as family entertainment when a coach goes on TV and every other word is a curse word? The league should hold the coaches to the same conduct policy the players adhere to.

This is such a ridiculous post, yes people have grieved over 9/11, it was arguably one of the darkest days in American history.. however, there are many Americans who have chosen to shut it out of their lives completely and forget that it ever happened. Why does it matter that someone wants to build a place of worship near that site? As the argument has been made, if it were a catholic church or any other religion, would you be reacting the same way? Probably not, because its obvious the people who have an issue with this cannot seperate the fact that not all Muslims are terrorists. ---- I am willing to bet if the people behind 9/11 were white, and someone wanted to build a church there after the fact, people wouldn't be complaining about it because they were white. And I agree with Heels, does no one care that Muslims practice their faith at the Pentagon? that site was hit too..... maybe we should run them out of their ASAP.

Is it really going to make a difference to move it a few blocks? people are going to get upset and worked up about that saying its still too close.... so how close is too close? Does it need to be built in Alaska? Maybe, Seattle? Fact is, freedom of religion is a huge part of what were founded on. I agree with DC Tom on this one... we should allow them to build.

Understood, and by the same argument, there is already a ton of hatred towards the west, if you will, that would be made a million times worse if we go against the foundations our country was built on, and tell them they can't build there, then the hatred grows, and now you have given them more soldiers for their "cause".... So is there really a winning solution in all of this?

By the same token, not building the mosque would promote hatred towards our government for not allowing them to have the same religious freedoms we allow others....
