  1. Take it to the bank. The Bills will participate in the 2014 NFL draft.
  2. I wouldn't trade for Romo for 2 third rounders.
  3. You believe that the NBA as a business should just issue a statement and walk away? Why so they can watch the bigger picture for them( the league) take a massive hit not only from a PR side but financially as well, not to mention the damage to it's reputation? I'm not sure I see how that makes sense for them to do that.
  4. Things similiar to this have been said a few times by a few different people, but as someone else mentioned earlier, the entire landscape of the NFL could be completely different from now looking 9 years into the future. To me being a simple idiot, it appears the odds are stacked in favor of this franchise staying here for a very long time.
  5. It's sad that reading this aritcle, my reaction is that it doesn't surprise me in the least. Society sucks. I almost think I'm becoming numb to how cold and heartless people can really be.
  6. You're right, I wasn't going too far into it, but to me, you nailed it.
  7. I think i read something in the news where his lawyer didn't dispute it was him, but i could be wrong
  8. I'd say so, my personal opinion is parents fail to teach their children that not everything will go right in their life, they won't always get the girl, make the team, get the best job, score the highest on the test. To me, there are too many children who have parents who refuse to teach their kids that not everything will go their way, so when it doesn't, they don't know how to react/respond and many do so violently.
  9. I'm not disputing that these kinds of events haven't been happening since the dawn of time, however I do strongly believe that the quality of parenting has taken a sharp nosedive since the dawn of time, and that has had an impact on these types of events.
  10. How can you automatically give the parents a free pass? Where should kids learn morals, values etc from? Their parents. No way I can give parents a free pass on this or any situation similar.
  11. Had to chime in on this, I was always a Bills fan growing up, never super huge (more of a hockey fan), In 2007 I was deployed to Kuwait, and while there paid off debt, and said hey I want to buy something, so I bought Bills Season Tickets. Best move I've ever made, love my seats, the atmosphere, the passion and excitement of the crowd, the anticipation while tailgating, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm getting married in June, and hopefully in the future the seats will be something to share with our kids if we're lucky enough. I now live for Bills football and I'm like a little kid on Christmas for the home opener, my tradition is the Saturday before the home opener we always make sure to drive by the Ralph.
  12. This seems to be a common theme lately, isn't this the 3rd or 4th team this has happened to? I know it was an issue with OAK
  13. i find it funny though that the media blows out of proportion when some creeper tries to pick up kids and offer them rides, but these stories of female teachers hit the news for a day or 2 and then it's all over. I'm shocked (shocked I say) by the media's double standard. yes, sarcasm applies here.
  14. what the heck is going on these days with all these teachers hooking up with students?
  15. Stepping back as a Bills fan, I think if it happened to any of the teams that have a supportive and loyal fan base to have their franchise ripped from their town for more money, it would be the end of me being an NFL fan. This isn't about anything more than greed. The rich getting richer. Sometimes the almighty buck (or billions) of them have to take a back seat to loyalty and your fans that have been there and supported through the years.
  16. The Tragically Hip
  17. I stand corrected, interesting article for sure.
  18. I understand your point, but realistically with the exception of completely fencing off any possible space on the bridge, it won't stop it from happening. Suicides happen all the time at the Golden Gate Bridge, do they need to fence off the whole thing? If someone is adamant about ending their own life, they will do it, regardless of safety measures put into place to prevent it.
  19. absolutely ridiculous. lets try and get paid because his son decided he didn't want to live anymore. If the railings were higher, guess what? He would've found another way to do it!
  20. There is nothing classless about his thread. it's the same as when a family loses a loved one, the inevitable question is "what now"? quite normal under the circumstances.
  21. RIP Mr. Wilson, thanks for everything you've done for this area and this team.
  22. anyone else notice the OP started the thread and has yet to further defend his thoughts?
  23. I love how in the article there is one line for "she has a long term boyfriend", is that to stop everyone from trying to hit on her?
  24. Security has to just be a troll out to stir up garbage. K. Williams made the pro bowl because his PEERS deemed him to be worthy of it. so unless you have some inside position with the NFL that none of us know about, this is just irrelevant nonsense from someone just spouting off at the mouth.
