  1. This is a lot of words. I'm sure there are good points, and some people will disagree with, but it's way too long for me to read the whole thing.
  2. So you figured your topic and poll is somehow more important than the 75 others we already have out there?
  3. Really? Cause they've been just DYING to come support the Bills for the last how many years?? How big is our waiting list for Season Tickets...... No, go ahead and calculate it, I'll wait.
  4. for me, yes. the NFL would be dead to me.
  5. Not to sound nasty, but honestly, who cares if it's close enough to Toronto? The Bills fans that are there already travel to OP, so why satisfy them at the risk of alienating your local fan base and ST holders here?
  6. I won't. ever.
  7. was the kid's name Stacey?
  8. Jay, are there any plans to improve the response system when sending a text for the obnoxious and unruly fans? The time it takes for them to zoom in, and check, and then decide to send someone down really makes it difficult/uncomfortable for the people who are reporting the situation. Last year, by the time anyone responded, we had to make trips to the usher anyway, and I don't feel we should have to miss game time because some idiot can't control himself
  9. How does this help anyone on the US side of the border?
  10. Oh I'm well aware, I've waved and said hi to many law enforcement officers while walking with a drink/drinks in my hand
  11. to me, it's different in that situation, because walking to RWS usually entails an adult beverage or two for the walk. Crossing the border elminates that, and takes some of the fun out of that 1-2 mile walk.
  12. Hopefully that wasn't a shot directed at me, I started the thread with the purpose of having the discussion as to actual ways and plans to make the traffic flow better, not just say it can't be done. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, IF (and it's a big if), they can manage to make it semi-reasonable to get out of the falls without sacrificing your entire sunday evening after a game. I keep seeing comments that it can be done and it would be done, but outside of one person ( i think it was you), I haven't seen many real ideas as to how to improve what people are saying about the traffic problems of putting a stadium there.
  13. That's what I'm saying, for most people coming in from the US, a good majority would use the GI bridges, now imagine 1 fender bender on the bridge. People aren't going to be arriving back home in Buffalo, West Seneca etc for roughly 2-3 hours. It may be beneficial for folks north of the border (which I'm not 100% on bc Sunday afternoons many of the weekend shoppers from the north return home too), but I think it's a pretty significant issue for those of us on this side of the border.
  14. Sorry, I didn't want to crusade on each topic that talks about a new stadium, I wanted to hear ideas that are realistic and possible if the stadium ended up in the falls. I know we have stadium topics, but like I said, i didn't want to crusade on each and everyone to get peoples feedback on the issues I brought up Can you elaborate on it? I grew up in the falls and I know how bad traffic can be down there during tourist season, so how isn't it as bad as described?
  15. But this doesn't answer the logistics problems that NF faces. The city had traffic difficulties with the Wallenda walk and at most it was 15-20K people.
  16. Ok, I keep seeing people posting they think NF would make the most sense for a stadium, and I've brought this up in other threads but don't really get any truthful answers to it, which is why I'm making it a new topic. Niagara Falls has some very serious infrastructure issues which would be prohibitive to building a new stadium in the falls. It's not in the greatest of areas to begin with, traffic would be an absolute nightmare as right now you basically have 4 ways out of the falls (Robert Moses parkway to GI Bridges, Robert Moses to Lasalle Expressway to River Road, Pine Ave to NF Blvd, or Buffalo ave to GI bridge or River road. So can anyone share a plan or an idea as to how to make this work? Someone mentioned a rail line etc, but for the people who want to drive, how do you make this a reality?
  17. I got the letter as well, and was wondering what to do with it. I like the idea of donating anything I get, so I think that's what I'll end up doing.
  18. BREAKING NEWS: Kiko Alonso had dinner at Chipotle last night. that's my contribution to OTA's
  19. I find it funny that most people that mention NF as their choice have yet to come up with a viable solution to deal with the nightmare traffic situations that would arise from dropping 60-70K people in NF. they can't even handle the traffic and parking from when Wallenda walked the wire over the falls and I believe that was only like 15K-20K max? How could they ever handle this realistically?
  20. Where? to send it into the Tonawandas? They'd still have to exit either down Buffalo Avenue or the Robert Moses, which would be the same two paths for people taking the bridge
  21. I have mentioned this a hundred times. NF does not have the ability to support 60,000 people for a home game. Traffic would be a nightmare, it's not in a good neighborhood, there is no easy access in our out, and all it takes is 1 person rear ending someone on the GI bridge and no one is getting home for hours. Pass. it's a bad bad idea.
  22. so obviously we need to pass new laws for inflatable toys because they hurt people. Obama, make it happen!
  23. wait, I can't keep up. are we back now to doom and gloom? Is all the hope and optimisim gone? Man, they need an app for that so I can keep up.
