The idiocy of cutting a proven commodity with no issues to create a hole that doesn't need to be created. The importance of cutting a guy who has not been a liability to us at all? This isn't important because it makes no sense to cut a guy who has been a solid performer at a job that isn't all that easy to do, but yet people feel we should cut him? I won't attack the premise because fact is FJ is getting up there in age. But to prematurely drop him ( or suggest dropping him) all the way down to the bottom of the depth chart is a panic move based on his age. FJ has never been the fastest guy, but as others have mentioned, his football IQ, his heart, his ability to pick up blitzes show that doesn't make him the last guy on the depth chart just because he's 33. Sure, do it when his performance significantly drops off, but until then, he's still a 1/1A back.
