  1. it's being held up because Terry is trying to arrange airfare to Buffalo for the game Sunday. Tickets are expensive and he's got the kids digging through the couch cushions for any spare money.
  2. Who the heck is this guy?
  3. Just cause it feels right Stayin
  4. You do realize that sometimes things are difficult for others to read based on poor english and grammar? It's not always criticizing for the heck of it, it's to show that a post or heartfelt comment may come across very poorly if the grammar is terrible.
  5. Can you possibly attempt to be anything other than doom and gloom and Mr. Negative? two straight threads I open and you're just all negative about this team. Lighten up. Stealing a posters name, Why so serious??
  6. Actually, you referred to negative several times in your post. I'm not attacking you, I'm just pointing it out. Realistically, this team has a top 10 Defense, good running backs, a good WR core, an improved O line and they brought in a backup QB to help if needed. Realistically, this team is trying to get better. Yes the coaching staff and the QB are big question marks at this point, but to say the make up of the team makes your choice realistic, I'd have to disagree, it's negativity, not realistic.
  7. Actually it is a choice to be negative, and an individual chooses to either be full of optimism and hope or they don't. I think that is the point the OP is making. Many people on this board continue to be negative and doom and gloom and bash the team, well it would make others pause and wonder, if someone is so down on them so much, what's the point in following or rooting for them? I think there is a middle ground for some and it goes the same for the QB situation, if you root and support for EJ, you're an apologist, and if you criticize, you're a hater. Not everything is so black and white, and I choose to believe that a high percentage of people here are die hard fans, however the perception by skimming through posts is that this is hands down the worst franchise in the league, and one who does absolutely nothing right. The fact is that we as fans have a right to be frustrated, but things could be worse, so what's the harm in getting excited and being optimistic that we can buck the trend and have a good year. 19-0 baby!!!!!!
  8. This is a good point. I choose to be upbeat and not temper my enthusiasm, the highs are awesome and the lows suck, but I just wouldn't trade it for anything. I think personally if I get to the point where all I'm seeing is the negative and no longer excited for the season then that will be the time I give up rooting for the Bills. But I don't ever see that happening at all.
  9. It's because most people here are far too serious, and forget how to laugh once in awhile. People need to pull the bunched up panties out of their arses and relax a little bit. Laugh, smile, don't be so doom and gloom all the time.
  10. I think the secondary is a concern, not necessarily for the loss of Byrd, but to the point you mentioned about Gilmore, and then if Leodis can stay healthy. For some reason (just a gut feeling), I worry about our K/P and hope they don't end up costing us a game at some point.
  11. I don't think people are mad about what you wrote (for the most part), I think based on what you said, there are a lot of people who are calling you out for what you perceive as loyalty. My impresson of your post was to seek validation for why you stopped being a Bills fan, and it didn't work out the way you had hoped. To me, you came across as the guy who cheats on his wife, gets divorced, and then starts running to everyone saying she wasn't giving me what I wanted so I found someone who does, in a hope to gain sympathy for your actions. That's just my two cents, I can say I don't care if you're a fan of the Jaguars or the Steelers, or whomever, I don't think your definition of loyalty matches mine.
  12. I could never quit on this team. Unless the first name is no longer Buffalo, It'll be my cross to bear, just like so many others. 19-0 BABY!!!!! Lets Go Bills!!!!!
  13. Even though Kryk seems doubtful?
  14. My guess is that it would compromise the bidding process, because in the grand scheme it would keep the price of the team lower if it's publicly known that the trust doesn't want the team moved and that limits the number of interested buyers which doesn't help the sale price.
  15. I think hogan has upside as a wr, I also think TJ does as well. Given the choice I am more in the camp of Hogan having slightly more upside than TJ but that's just my opinion. Others can and are free to disagree with me on it.
  16. Two of those teams he was on for less than 3 months total and if I recall he only played one year of college football. I'm good keeping him over TJ
  17. Holy nitpicking. I like the post. I'm still drinking the Kool Aid. Let's go Bills!!!!!
  18. Let's not let facts get in the way here
  19. So we should sign a guy that totally fell apart to come in just to throw passes to Sammy? No thanks.
  20. Well now the way it's being reported by him is that now Rogers or Tannenbaum will bid more than Pegula can and we will move to Toronto. This isn't an open auction because if it were then there would be a ton more bidders IMO
  21. Is this going to be another tavaris Jackson situation? Where "he still struggles with the playbook?" Hahaha
  22. If anyone is listening to Jonah Javad this thread is going to be back to doom and gloom and we're moving and blah blah blah. Watching him on the news pisses me off because he's making it sound like it's nothing but an auction and the money rules all and the team can end up in Toronto
  23. How did they show this recently? How many times did Dombrowski punt in the preseason before they cut him? Was it like the "competition" between Hopkins and Carpenter (not saying Carpenter shouldn't have won, cause he deserved it), but calling it a competition in the beginning was a joke.
