So now we're going to cherry pick stats? CJ had what? 25 yards rushing? It's difficult for ANY qb to pass well when there isn't a solid rushing game to count on. People keep saying Hackett is improving. Maybe I'm in the minority but I'm seeing a coach that outside of randomly throwing a surprise out there is unbelievably predictable.

And that's not accurate. It's still a team game. If our D doesn't give up those long throws, or take penalties in the end zone to keep giving SD chances, it could be a different game overall. So my whole point was it's not ALL the QB. It's a team game and today was a team loss. For example in your misses receivers, 2 big plays, the miss to Sammy on 4th and Woods down the middle, there's no way for you or I or anyone to know truly who is to blame on those. It could've been that EJ put the ball where it needs to be and the receivers were in the wrong. Either one of those are completed and chances are it's a different game.

Might be onto something there. People just need to take a step back. Even Manning and Brady and Luck and Rodgers have bad games. I'm not saying EJ is in their league, but the point is, it happens. No one is perfect. Everyone needs to step back and realize we're 2-1 and tied for 1st in our division.

I didn't realize EJ took the holding penalties, hands to the face and is to blame for the extremely lackluster D that showed up today. He wasn't perfect but he was FAR from the reason we lost today.

It's become that way with Social media being what it is, that if someone in the public feels they are wronged, if they take it to social media they will get their way, so in that regard I agree. In this case, I feel there are folks in the Vikings ownership and front office that have a lack of a moral compass and now they'll deal with unending pressure from the public to do what they should be doing to begin with

I think my biggest issue with any of this, AP, RR etc is when people feel that the employer (team or league), shouldn't have a say about this persons job. The league isn't something like working at Joe's Hot dog stand, it's a multi billion dollar corporation with some of the most highly visible employees on the planet. To allow them to continue to serve in that role (while committing crimes etc), sets an awful view for young athletes that shows that we don't care about the human side of things, if you can throw/run/catch a football really well, you can make millions of dollars in a career doing that even though you're a scumbag human being.

I have no voice, my ears are still ringing, and I can't recall a game in which so many people were smiling and laughing. And we only saw one fight -- as for during the ceremony and Jimbo, personally I had goosebumps.

I just don't get it. No offense to the OP, but as a fan I bask in every victory and become temporarily despressed in every defeat. But I couldn't temper how I feel win or lose. The ride is what makes this great. I don't look further ahead than our next opponent. I don't see the point. Even if we lose next week we're still 2-1 with a divisional win under our belt. Go BILLS

Interesting stat I heard this morning. The Bills ran 14 Red zone plays, 10 of which were runs that gained a total of 12 yards. EJ and Sammy missed on that pass (not sure who read the safety wrong, but they weren't on the same page), EJ missed on the pass to Woods, I believe he threw one away as well, which would leave one other RZ pass (which I don't recall). So while everyone is so quick to slam EJ, I would lean more towards the RZ issues as playcalling, not the play of your QB.

John,I wouldn't even. It's nothing but a crusade for the people who want a new QB no matter what. I think Dean said it earlier, oh we beat Miami, but NE wasn't that good, oh we beat Chicago and blah blah blah. EJ moves the team down the field, but it's always his receivers bailing him out. Some people here refuse to give credit where it's due. Is he the next coming of # 12 in Buffalo history? Probably not, but lets not throw all the blame on EJ and say his receivers save him time and time again because it's simply not true.
