  1. Jimmy Spags hired him? Man i thought he was a Jets guy. The things you learn
  2. I know it's about money in most cases, but what percentage of his thought process is based on how outstanding this D is and how good he is in it? Is that a real thought, or something made up to appease the fans? Does it truly come down to the almighty dollar or would he really consider staying here for the right amount of money because he likes the area/team/D?
  3. I like the blue on blue. I like it better than the blue on white
  4. I guess I always figured Packers fans were more like Buffalo fans, small town mentality, blue collar etc. More friendly, knowledeable
  5. I believe it's both. Hackett doesn't have a creative offense that guys receivers down the field in space, it seems like there are a lot of routes that fall short of the required yardage. But on that note, I agree with your comments on Orton.
  6. No need, just a few idiots out there but nothing that ruined it horribly.
  7. Well as I mentioned in an earlier reply, it appeared yesterday I won the idiot lottery for them and got the small percentage that were just idiots.
  8. You know me, of course I did. This is more what I was expecting Pretty much summed it up, in fact I said that to my wife several times, it must be really easy to be a fan when you've never gone through the losing that a Bills fan has.
  9. See and that's kinda what I mean, I know what I had wasn't the norm, and I won the idiot lottery yesterday. But sorry if you're a Packers "fan" and you didn't even know that BJ Raji is out for the year and has been since TC, then I have every right to question what point you jumped on the bandwagon.
  10. Nope you're right, and I didn't want to label all of them, I was disappointed that the smaller sample that were idiots of course were seated directly behind me
  11. Oh it wasn't a comparision, I know how bad Bills fans can be. It just struck me as odd, I think because I expected more out of Packers fans than I saw.
  12. So let me start this off by saying I know my sample is a small cross section of Packers fans, but yesterday at the Ralph I endured some of the rudest most obnoxious fans I've ever had sitting in my section (and that includes games against the *pats). The one woman behind me kept screaming and screeching like she was being assaulted and was swearing like a drunken sailor. Then the guy next to her made comments about my wife being wrapped in a blanket and that " people like her need a drink thrown on her". My wife is a huge Bills fan but she was cold and wrapped up, and then to top it off when Duke Williams got hurt, the two idiots start cheering and clapping, and making comments like oh get him a pacifier, what a baby, what a weak @ss p@#$! and oh he just doesn't want to face Rodgers anymore. I guess I always thought being a smaller market team similiar to the Bills that the fans would have a little more class and respect, but these people I encountered were out of control. I get it, it's football so we can save those comments, and we can hold our own with swearing and yelling, but yesterday was just ridiculously bad.
  13. Wow, and the idiotic OP has someone agreeing with him. Just ridiculous.
  14. Pathetic Predictable Idiotic Simple Weak Trouble Basic Incompetent Ouch Unbelievable
  15. The examples you cited aren't my opinion. they're based on facts and what is in the NFL rulebook. it's not an opinion, it's what the league has determined is a penalty
  16. but see, thats an opinion. there is nothing in that rooted in fact. So people can have their opinion on it, but the facts don't support it in the example you provided.
  17. It was the Browns game and both penalties were clear penalties, AWilliams said something he shouldn't have said to Josh Gordon, and then after Gordon got up after a catch he spun the ball towards the Bills defended, a clear violation of the rules, no make up calls there. Completely legit and correct calls.
  18. That may prove the point some of these folks are trying to make, but so far the responses are just that it "seems" to be that way.
  19. I'm the first to admit the officiating is not what it used to be. I don't see how this is done to favor certain teams and help them win. There is far too much for the league to lose by getting caught knowing their officials influence outcomes of games.
  20. The bolded invalidates the rest of your argument. How can you sit there and say they have to even it out when those 2 teams have been called for MORE penalties than the BIlls? No logic at all.
  21. I've never stated this. My entire point on the officiating are the Bills fans who are adamant it's a screw job against the Bills. So because they didn't show the replay means the penalties didn't happen? that's not logical.
  22. A very true statement. As mentioned, I'm not saying officiating is good, I don't think it is, but I think the small groupings whining about it somehow being a conspiracy against the Bills need to get a grip
  23. I'm not downplaying other concerns. but the facts show the officiating has not cost us a game this year. Our inept play at the QB position, our lackluster OC, our less than impressive HC have led to us losing games. Sure the officials haven't helped, but that doesn't change the fact that they haven't cost us a game. I've been as outspoken as anyone about how the officials haven't been up to par, should be full time employees etc etc, so I get it. But the nonstop whining about how they're having a serious influence on what teams move on makes no sense to me. Good teams win regardless of how bad the officiating is. Denver, Seattle and NE all are more penalized than the Bills and they win. it's what good teams do. right now overall, the Bills aren't a good team. We have a great defense but our offense drags us down and doesn't have the mental makeup to overcome penalty calls legit or not.
  24. Seattle, NE and Denver are ahead of the Bills in penalties. so how is this a conspiracy?
  25. I get where you're coming from. But my point is there are plenty of other teams who endure the same bad calls that kill drives and yet they're still winning. Denver, NE and Seattle are all penalized more than the Bills and they're winning games. So yes, the penalties and the officiating hurts, but we aren't the only ones it impacts, but there are too many people here and other places that act like there is a personal vendetta to go out and screw the Bills. I've spoken on this several times (officiating) and I have complaints in general about how poor it's gotten. But I don't see it as the larger problem when it comes to the Bills, to me it's the smaller problem that pales in comparison to how this team has yet to figure out how to overcome the officiating and any other adversity and win games.
