It's real and it's happening.

It was just more of a general thing since I see people complaining about the cap hit. On another note I'm excited for this. We need a better offense, got to take chances. I'm good with this.

Can we redo his contract once the trade is official? Offer an up front bonus and lower the overall cap hit or something?

I can get that. I. chose guts because there are far too many people here who want to throw in different scenarios and circumstances into play. I look at this as either you do or you don't, put your name on one side or the other and there are a lot of people who want to stay in the middle so they can be right no matter what happens.

I don't mean it to be insulting, so I apologize if it came across that way ( and it wasn't any shot at you), I just meant there are many posters here who would prefer to stay neutral on it, so whatever the end result is, they can still say they were right. Nothing personal aimed at you with what I meant.

I think this poll is exposing some people for not wanting to commit one way or another. It takes guts to put your name on one side or the other.

I say yes. Currently I live by the belief he wasn't coached or game planned to his strengths and feel that the coaching staff had him so afraid to make a mistake he was thinking far too much instead of just making plays.

I was at the game last night and it was sad but in my head I was wishing for Van to pick it up and score more, and was actually disappointed with the end outcome. Although the cool thing was my wife got us in a suite for the game and I spent the game sitting in the suite next to Fred Jackson. Coolest part if anyone saw his picture on Twitter or Instagram with his daughters hat on, I'm the ugly SOB in the background with the glasses on. Didn't talk to FJ but he seems like an awesome family guy and his kids were having a blast. (can't post the pictures from work, but if anyone sees them you can see my ugly mug)

Yeah I don't understand this. Even if it was a November game and it's 15 degrees out, I'll still be out there having a blast. Night games are the best.

My wife went to HS with him and used to hang out in their circle of friends and said he's been a cocky arrogant tool since HS. So personality wise it probably hasn't changed, but I don't question how he feels about his hometown cause I've never heard him speak of it.

I get that, I was more referring to the way it's being portrayed and the reasoning behind it. I don't necessarily have an issue with a passing play, but for me, if you're going to throw a slant, throw it LOW. That way worst case maybe it gets deflected. Have your receiver have to slide to make the catch. Or a fade or jump ball like they did at the end of the first half. Or, since you have Lynch in the backfield, how about a read option fake or playaction? So many better calls that could've been made from a passing point of view.

Anyone else find it arrogant that basically the plan wasn't to win the game on that play? Carroll said something about they were planning to score on third or fourth down. Man punch it in, even if Wilson throws incomplete you stop the clock, so the whole "leave no time on the clock thing makes zero sense". Just RUN
