I don't see Whaley being replaced if we miss the playoffs. He's brought us further than any recent GM we've had. I think he gets another year or two regardless of the playoffs or not this year.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be discussed. I'm more referring to the people truly taking offense and feeling hurt by it. It just surprises me that there are a good number of people who are offended ( legitimately offended) by it.

Personally, I'm not offended. It doesn't phase me in any way, shape or form if Sammy Watkins thinks my job is little or whatever term he used. I know I'm proud of what I do, my wife is proud of what I do, and that's what matters. I don't give a rats @ss what some pampered rich athlete who has no idea of what reality truly is thinks about the jobs of others. I'm surprised so many people have truly taken offense to what he said. Unless you're friends or family with him, why do the words of someone who believes they're better than you phase you at all?

Has our situation really gotten this bad? First people want Tebow, now we want RGIII? I thought we were going forward, not being the land of QB misfits.

Does anyone know what the thought is through the league? Do coaches give their team the whole week off? Others 4 days? some variation? I see a lot of anger, but is it something that could be considered typical and Rex isn't the only one who does it?

And this is the fault of Rex how? Does his job title include battery changer? Get a grip, I know we're on the crucify Rex and the staff thing, but the coaches aren't responsible for changing batteries. That's on your equipment guys.

This is a pretty ignorant statement and not something that has a place on this board. Suicide and substance abuse shouldn't be mentioned in regards to the outcome of a football game.

I've wanted to hold out hope that EJ maybe finally got it. That he could string together a couple of decent starts and keep building on it. It's too much now. I want this team to win and when there are passes causing receivers to stop or come back to the ball or drop to the turf to make a catch, that isn't what we need. I know we've had injuries however no excuse for most of what we saw today. The EJ pick was a mistake.

Last audition? I think there are far too many people posting on here who have an unrealistic expectation for EJ. He is our backup QB and for a backup he led the offense to put up 21 points. There are very few teams in the league that wouldn't take that out of their backup. He was far from the problem today.

How dare our backup QB put up 21 points but somehow he deserves the bashing he's getting on here? Seems to be a lot of displaced anger and frustration here right now.
