  1. You just further proved how much you're reaching. There was no mention of anything about our offense. he was asked a question about Philly's offense and TT. Any inference beyond that is strictly in the readers head.
  2. So because he was asked how TT would do in Philly's offense and he responded that he would kill it means he's obsessed? that's a seriously pathetic reach
  3. I actually like the idea. If the LE moves and the LT or the LG jumps, then it's just a do over. Based on blocking schemes you never know if the LE is going to be blocked by the RT, RG or C. So anything outside of 2 players they're lined up directly over is just a replay.
  4. To me, you lost all credibility with your post with this line right here.
  5. I'm not giving Rex a pass on the team and the penalties, but why is the outrage with the HC and not with the players committing the penalties? You can't bench every player for every stupid penalty they make, so why do we only show outrage at Rex and not the team itself? Also, please keep Whaley and Rex, lets not knee jerk and panic and let go of everyone.
  6. There is a lot of displaced emotion on the board yesterday and today. I'm not sure why what an athlete chooses to do offends you in that way, it's clear that team was important to him, it's his home state etc, It meant a lot to him and he was paying his respect. Not sure why there is such outrage over this.
  7. What I was referring to is that too many fans forget that on Sunday when they're playing, that's work. Everyone has bad days and good days, there have been articles showing his competitiveness, his unwillingness to settle for losing, and not being the friendliest guy after a loss or bad day. For people to refer to him as a jerk when only looking at that side of him is wrong. Now we base an assessment on someones entire personality because of one or two things they do? Seems pretty shallow to me. If we had won yesterday no one would be mentioning this at all.
  8. My wife and I enjoy the games, the atmosphere and I guess I'm a sucker because I always buy in that this year will be better than the last. I'll renew because it's fun. It's a good time and being a Buffalo Bills fan is ingrained into who I am.
  9. I found it awesome to see him granting a Make-A-Wish to a fan of his prior to the game which was caught on video. People are so quick to judge and call him a jerk, and he's emotional about his job and had a bad day at the office and that's that. To me though, calling him a jerk when he took time out before the game to spend time with a fan and make her smile and laugh shows that when you take out the competitive nature of his job, he does have a softer, good side to who he is.
  10. Soooo how soon until we get the "I'm done with this team thread" LAMP post? Who's it gonna come from?
  11. I bought one. Don't play online or anything so I got the 500 instead of the 1TB. I only play one or two games at a time so I think the memory will be fine.
  12. I'm not sure, I'll need at least 20 hours of double time and a half OT to determine if you can fly next month.
  13. I think I take offense. I'm a GS-09 with DOD and I don't work in a sweat shop basement of a Federal building and I'm not eating sandwiches and coffee from vending machines, and I'm sure as hell not working at 3 AM.
  14. I was happy to see him seem to look down the middle of the field more, within that 10+ to 25 yard range, where it had seemed earlier in the year he didn't make many attempts that way. I think he is progressing, I think the kid can be something special, if not solid, but he needs to keep progessing and really learning from his mistakes.
  15. so here's the thing. Yesterday there were 9 missed PAT's in the league if I read it correctly. Also, the FA crop of kickers is GARBAGE. So we cut DC and we get worse. We're still in better shape with him than we are with some FA off the street.
  16. Can you elaborate why he's not particularly good? Are there specific examples that show this?
  17. Best of luck in your new role!
  18. My apologies, I wasn't implying you directly. I was just pointing out that even if we change the laws, how does it help if the processes are being followed as they are now? My only counter to what you're asking in your post is if they will truly make a difference. If there is a solution it needs to be something with teeth, not a paper solution to appease the many people who are crying for reform.
  19. Personally I don't think the debate is so much being focused on the stricter gun laws, but like I asked the OP, this individual bought the pistols they had legally. So how would stricter gun laws change this when they followed the protocol to get them? Maybe there are some who don't want the increased background checks and stricter gun laws, but putting them on the books doesn't realistically make it more difficult to get guns. Let me ask this. How far into someone's background do we go? Do we look and go, well Timmy in 3rd grade drew a picture of a gun, pointed it at kids and went pew pew pew you're dead. Do we not allow him a gun 20 years later? Also, the laws mean nothing if the parties involved aren't enforcing them. You can have a law that says I need to do XYZ to sell a gun. Well if I do X and the person says I'll throw an extra 5K at me to complete the transaction, is every gun seller going to follow the letter of the law? They're in business to make money and not everyone is honest. So realistically it doesn't solve the problems, but it may help some of the cases. Also, a background check and stricter laws cannot predict future behavior. He passed a check to get the handguns, they couldn't predict this would happen in the future. So how can we ensure once they are sold legally and following the letter of the law that something won't happen in that persons life to make them do something like this? You can't.
  20. This isn't even close. He came in attacking the NRA and anyone who supports them. He wasn't provoking a discussion. He wanted people to join on his crusade of emotion that guns are bad. He wouldn't present any logical ideas or thoughts and just kept calling peoples questions weak and acted superior and refused to answer a good majority of them. That isn't a discussion or brainstorming at all. Not even close.
  21. That proves my point though. If this person passed every check they needed to legally acquire the weapons with the current checks, what would make it different that they wouldn't pass? How far down the rabbit hole do we realistically go to try and ban people from getting guns?
  22. With the information we know right now, there isn't a lot to suggest these people were on watch lists or anything like that, so for this moment they were pretty much typical citizens. So how are they considered the wrong hands?
  23. I don't ever really comment here on PPP because I truthfully don't consider myself as intelligent as some of the people here. However, I see this brought up frequently (not just by you). How do you or anyone know they acquired them easily? Do you or anyone else have facts that it was easy for them to get the guns because they got them legally? I'll hang up and listen.
  24. I love it!
