  1. Ok for one, my son isn't with a teenager all day at daycare. My child is in great hands with teachers that care for him and teach him. The couple of hours you mention, it isn't about the time, it's about what you do with that time. and your last sentence is completely out of whack, I don't argue from a position of guilt, I argue from the position that your statement is hollow and has nothing to support it at all.
  2. We're both federal employees but it works!
  3. I'll bite, this is such a ridiculous statement. My wife works, and is a real mom. We live a family driven life, we aren't in debt, we don't have 2 new cars and a new home. We both work so we can provide a better life for our son. We put him in school so he will learn to socially interact with other children his age and also to learn to function independently of mom and dad. So don't give me this real moms crap because it's ridiculous.
  4. Same for me, Congrats Mead!!!!!
  5. That is just sickening. I can't believe what they went through. Wow
  6. I don't know much about Scandella, can anyone provide details?
  7. You're probably right. I was happy to see the story that he came out as gay didn't make major news, but I was struck off the fact that he was going to kill himself over it.
  8. I found this interesting, I searched to see if it was discussed elsewhere, so if I missed it, my bad. Scary to think his plan was to play football and then end his life because of his sexual preference. Ryan O’Callaghan’s plan was always to play football and then, when his career was over, kill himself. Growing up in Redding, Calif., he didn’t see any other option. From a deep red corner of a blue state, the conflicted young man had decided in high school that he would never — could never — live as a gay man. While the 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive tackle didn’t fit any of the gay stereotypes, he decided shortly after coming out to himself in junior high school that he could never let anyone else in on his darkest secret. https://www.outsports.com/2017/6/20/15835374/ryan-ocallaghan-gay-nfl-new-england-patriots-kansas-city-chiefs
  9. Failure to prepare on your part, does not constitute an emergency on mine.
  10. What makes him or her so intimidating?
  11. without a doubt.
  12. This clearly could've been posted IN the OTHER Sammy thread. I really doubt they're looking going hmmmm could we alienate our fan base cause we want to show it's OUR team? Ok, hmm lets trade Watkins. That'll show em!
  13. Gave mine up after ten years. Nothing really to do with the on field product, just miss spending Sunday's with my son (13 months old), The crowds are too much for me now that I'm pushing 40, and I'd rather spend the day with family watching football on the couch.
  14. Serious question for you and anyone else (yes I know I can read articles, but I'm looking for more personal opinions). What makes Uber and Lyft so great over taxi's? Personally I've never really used either and only a taxi a few times in my life, so what is the big draw that makes it better than a cab?
  15. Am I missing something or just really bad at math? From the article: Baby No. 14 for Antonio Cromartie is on the way! The NFL player’s wife, Terricka Cromartie, announced on Sunday, May 14, that she’s pregnant. The couple have four children together already. Antonio, a free-agent cornerback, is also the dad of eight other children from a previous relationship.. 4+1+8=13
  16. Do people really expect this to be a thing? Does anyone really believe McD would be dumb enough to jeopardize everything for a couple of draft picks?
  17. Sooooo you're saying it's complicated.
  18. that is disturbing. Sickening to see.
  19. I'm not sure if it would be a huge deal for a restructure, he's been willing to do them through his career so far, hopefully that doesn't change.
  20. I live about a mile from there and haven't went. Anytime we've considered it, it's been packed.
  21. thanks, that was one story I hadn't heard.
  22. Link to prove this?
  23. I'm not sure I have it. And that's a fair statement. I just don't quite follow the logic people have about putting your cap in rougher shape by picking up his extension just because there isn't a true alternative yet.
  24. The 25% I saw someone post and used it as an example. And let's be real, he's not "leading" the offense. The running game is leading the offense, not our QB.
  25. Plenty good enough? I'm not sure you know what those words mean.
