  1. That would be a disgusting typical Buffalo Bills pick.
  2. If Mallet wasn't so slow on his feet... he has a rocket
  3. I got a feeling the helmet color is changing back to white
  4. If Joe Buck had a voice that was like say... JP Losman.. trust me he woudn't be doing play by play.
  5. I like Joe Buck.. well I'm probably just a biased cardinal fan. Hes better than Gus Johnson at least.
  6. Id rather have AJ Green.. and put Lee Evans in the slot.. that would be sick.
  7. He didn't come out of no where.. he played for a top 15 team the year prior. He threw 3600 yards and 24Tds, w/ 9 Ints. Ran for 200 yards and 3 Tds. He was highly regarded last year, but last year no one was talking about his draft stock since he was a redshirt Soph. They probably assumed he would go out in 2012.
  8. Mizzou really didn't throw the ball much this year as compared to last year. They always seemed to be up by 20 or 30 pts and they ran the ball A LOT. Check out Gabberts stats last year. That is more telling of what he can do throwing the ball because he had a dynamic receiver in Denario Alexander. His receivers this year sucked balls. What is turning me off this year about Gabbert is his game against Texas Tech.. they had to have that game and he blew it.
  9. Mid to late first round would be pretty good value. Even mid first is pushing it. But you know some team will reach on him. Id love to see what Gabbert can do under center. It looks like Chase Daniel made a nice transition in New Orleans. He looked pretty comfortable in that offense.
  10. Blaine Gabbert has led Mizzou to two 10+ win seasons with terrible receivers. (Other than Denario Alexander) That is a big accomplishment for the Mizzou program. I think he needs to be more decisive on his throws. Otherwise he has all the measurables. Height, weight, arm strength, smarts, scrambling ability. He is everything you would want in a QB. Sometimes he hangs onto the ball way too long, and playing in Mizzou's rediculous spread offense doesn't help either. I really like him, but he definately is not a player the Bills should get at #3. Since i'm a Mizzou fan, i've watched every game Gabbert has ever played.. that's just my opinion on the guy. Take it as you will.
  11. I heard Trent Edwards was awesome in practice... He should be an all pro then right? The scouts are bitches, they have the entire actual game to scout
  12. Let me correct you: He was an all-pro at a position of dire need
  13. I know exactly how to spend 2.5 million. Not on Shawn Merriman In addition we lost a ton of money on him this year because the Bills can't tell who is an injury prone player and who isn't.
  14. I didn't think this discussion would turn into a Business Law class.
  15. A couple years ago the Bills were known for their fast swarming defense. Now... eh
  16. This thread needs to be archived so we can revisit after he gets hurt within the first 3 games.
  17. They wouldn't need to sign washed up players if they actually drafted some good players.
  18. It all changed when he got hurt AGAIN in PRACTICE... how the hell is he supposed to ever survive in games anymore.
  19. Sorry, I still don't understand the Bills decision. It makes no sense. Shawn Merriman is done people.. I can't believe none of you realize this.
  20. Why did the Bills spend 2.5 millon per year on a guy that probably will get hurt in pre-season? What has he done in the last 3 years except prove that he can't stay healthy. I don't understand the Bills direction on that decision. just my opinion. Im sure that 2.5 million could have been better utilized somewhere else.
  21. Lets see... Big Ben, and Aaron Rodgers in the super bowl. Both are franchise QBs. So franchise QB + Defense = Superbowl
  22. I like Matt Spaeth at tight end. Also, I think Daniel Fells could be a pretty solid player. He did ok for the Rams when his # was called.
  23. Why wouldn't the Bills take AJ Green? The Offense would be hella good. Who needs defense when you can score 40 a game
  24. "I'll take a stab at it: A franchise quarterback is the face of your franchise. When someone thinks of the Colts, it is, first and foremost, Peyton Manning that comes to mind. He is a quarterback that your franchise would pay top dollar to keep if his contract were up. He is an elite player who can, through both leadership and talent, get your team the win. He is The Man. When someone says we need to draft our franchise quarterback, they are saying is that we need to draft a kid that will become that man. Current franchise quarterbacks: P. Manning, T. Brady, A. Rogers, B. Rothlisberger, D. Brees, P. Rivers Borderline: T. Romo, E. Manning, J. Flacco, M. Ryan Becoming and Fading: S. Bradford, J. Cutler, M. Sanchez, M. Stafford, D. McNabb, B. Farve" Josh Freeman is a good young QB with franchise QB potential.
