Both played at small school, both are huge, with big arms, and accuracy issues. How then was Josh Allen drafted in the 1st round and Jackson is projected very late with NFL teams having told him to go back to school? I'm just curious why the big discrepancy in future potential and draft position.

That has to be priority number one. I was listening to the radio before the game and they were talking about how Andrew Luck was 33/1 in the red zone this year, but the year before he was the most sacked qb in the league. Get the qb first and then build the line. I kniw he was great before, but overcoming his injury, having a great o-line frees up your head to make plays without the panic. Watson is really good, but he was sacked 62 times this year. With Brown gone and some injuries it hurt. You add a few o-line to Texans and they'll get better. If we can protect Josh so he has more confidence to stand in the pocket, and a weapon or two, it's an obvious recipe for success

This would take a huge haul. But as opposed to Antonio Brown, this is one I might say we should at least look into. Then again, I think if any trade is made, we are best suited to take more of a risk like a guy like AJ Green with a few good years left and could be a good player and mentor for the next few years

I;m ok with Shady coming back. Is he the same as a few years ago, no. But he seems to be loved in the locker room and is a Captain on the team. Bring in a young FA or draft pick and him mentor him in his last year. With Kyle gone, we need as many leaders back to fill the void

I apologize if this has been discussed in other threads, but I don't think LT is a huge area of need as I've been reading various threads. I do not think Dawkins is an elite LT, but more than above average. You have to take his complete work into account. Most thought he was the answer at LT until this year. The difference? Not having a Pro Bowl guard next to him. Now that's not saying he can only be great with an elite guard next to him, but someone who gets the job done. I feel like once Teller got in there, the less I started to notice Dawkins "faults". That being said, I think if we can somehow get Paradis and Williams in FA, our line as a whole will be greatly improved and Dawkins will shine again.

I met him while he was coach of the Bills. He was at a charity event at a local bar in the Bronx for a firefighter from his old neighborhood. Was nice enough. Talked Bills for 10-15 minutes. Took a couple pictures with him, but he asked that our beers weren't in the picture. I guess with social media you have to watch out for what gets out there, but I thought it was harmless. He was at a bar after all.

Would a team like the Bills, or any team for that matter, bring in a guy like Trestman mid season to help a QB? or are positions like that only filled preseason and no adding to staff midseason? Feel like if anything he could help develop Allen
