  1. If Peters doesnt get a new deal and they trade him, Pettigrew might make more sense. We will need strong blocking and that is what he provides.
  2. Skip Bayless is the absolute worst. Have never known a bias against the Bills from him, but he just sucks all around in general
  3. I don't think it would be easy to pass up on a talent like Crabtree, but we have too many holes to take a WR with the first pick. If he falls it could be a perfect trade down scenario, but I really don't see any way he gets to #11
  4. I wouldn't mind that at all, but the big IF there is if Peters doesn't resign, then we have another hole to fill
  5. I hope that's not that case. There is no need to use of of our very important draft picks because we released a guy who was overpaid. Was he worth the money, no. But was he absolutely terrible, also no. I hope we sign Simmons or trade for Waters.
  6. per rotoworld: Team chairman Clark Hunt said Monday that Tony Gonzalez will remain a Chief while Larry Johnson and Brian Waters "could return" to Kansas City next season. "We certainly will not seek a trade for Tony," Hunt said. "I think he’s excited about the changes we’ve made here." Hunt added that he was "surprised" about Waters' release/trade request late last month and would not deny that Johnson is available in trade talks. Source: Kansas City Star I'd like to see us try and get him. I just don't know if we have any money left as he wil ask for anew contract when traded
  7. who did they lose to get these picks? Vrabel, and Cassel. Hardly worth 3 picks and one 3rd rounder at that
  8. I saw that earlier today, but this new updated item shows Mike McCarthy's interest in him. We never say we have interest in anyone
  9. per rotoworld: Packers coach Mike McCarthy revealed that the team is strongly interested in free agent G/C Duke Preston. Preston visited the Raiders earlier in March, but they're probably no longer interested after acquiring Samson Satele. A 6'5/326-pounder with some athleticism, Preston would provide competition for smallish C Scott Wells. not saying I thought he did a good job last year, but we are losing OL like flies. We need to sign someone other than Hangartner and resign Peters
  10. That's actually a great draft. I'd be real happy with that. I don't think Orakpo will be there at 11 nor Mack in the second, but I'd be happy with that for sure
  11. I have no problem with that at all. If shows up and plays hard on Sundays I couldn't give one sh-t where he lives
  12. They are a VERY good team, but I'm not gonna concede that game, or any other, before it has even been played. We have a chance to win ANY game and this one is NO different
  13. Cato June, Keaiho, Kendall Simmons, Waters via trade, etc. etc. I have read a few posts stating that we might not have any more money left, especially if we re-sign (hopefully) Peters. What do you guys think the chance of this are. I hope that Pat thomas did not indicate our last FA signing, and LB at that. I also would rather not go LB at #11. I'm just wondering how much money we have to get some extra guys
  14. Now there's that positive attitude that we need going into the season!
  15. I understand that he has caused A LOT of problems with other teams. But veterans who have established themselves with great conditioning and work ethic do not always regularly attend these workouts. I guarantee he shows up at some point. He really gets attention for a bunch of nothing sometimes. It has been referenced on ESPN TV and radio ALL day. With interviews from Trent and the ESPN announcers. He really is a lightning rod for everything
  16. now Mort is reporting Stafford goes #1. We'll have to wait and see
  17. That's what I'm hoping. If we could get Orakpo or Raji I would be thrilled. Also, we might have a lot more trade partners to move back. Let's see where this goes. Should be interesting on draft day
  18. If KFFL is correct in reporting that Jason Smith will be picked at #1, then how does that affect the rest of the draft. Almost every mock I have seen has Stafford going #1, because QB is of need to Detroit. Some of the other teams afterwards don't neccesarily need one. How far does he fall, and does his falling make someone we have high on our draft boards more available?
  19. Oh, I was answering PearlHowardman's post about the NYC bars not the original posters. Didn't realize he was talking about Buffalo. oops
  20. McFaddens and next door Calico Jacks are 2 HUGE Bills bars in NYC on 42nd and 2nd. There's even a guy who seels T-shirts with a picture of the street sign of 42ns and 2nd on it, and below it says "Little Buffalo". If you go the NYCBBB.com they have info on the draft party. It's the same as for a game. $20 all you can drink and eat wings. Not a bad time. But if you go, get there early to try and snag a table because the place fills up with around 300 bills fans pretty quick. Never been for the draft so not sure if they get the same crowd
  21. What worries me if the amount of money that we have to sign these guys. His contract would have to be re-worked in a deal, we are still working on Peters (hopefully), we need an OLB and OG AND we need to sign our rookies. There was a previous article stating that we might be done in FA after Pat Thomas of all people was signed. I hope we can make more moves but we just might not be able to
  22. We could always trade down to get him later in the round. This would be a perfect year to do it too, as teams will look to gain position to draft mark Sanchez if he isn't off the board at 11
  23. new note from rotoworld: Cincinnati DE/OLB/TE Connor Barwin ran his forty-yard dash in the 4.4-4.5 range at the Bearcats' Pro Day. Prospects always do better at Pro Days, but this can only help. Barwin, who ran 4.66 at the Combine, is looking more and more like a first-round pick.
  24. Although he might be a better fit for OLB in a 3-4 scheme, he is very impressive. I know that he is a one year wonder, and a young one at that, but the one thing that doesn't worry me as much about him is the fact that he played in the Big-Ten. Now i know a lot of you seem to not be so high on Big-Ten players, PSU in particular, but they grind out very good offensive lineman year after year. Joe Thomas and Jake Long most recently. While the WR's and RB's may not be big time players in the pro's, the lineman and a lot of defensive players do very well.
