  1. In Mayocks top 20 prospects he has Ayers at # 3 now. I can't believe this. People said he was a one year wonder. What has he done, other than the Senior Bowl to be rated so high? If we pick him I won't be upset at all really, but I don't think he provides the pass rush we need. Although he won't be situational, more of a 3 down guy. Thoughts?
  2. I was just reading Tim Grahams blog and he has a list of all AFC East teams and the drops per WR. It shows that Josh Reed had 56 receptions last year and 0 drops. (Lee Evans only had 2 as well). I thought for over 50 receptions and no drops, that it was a pretty significant accomplishment. He has let his problems of catching ball remain in the past and has become a very dependable NFL WR. Nice job Josh!!! (Also, Royal and Lynch had the most at 7, and T.O. had 9 for the Cowboys)
  3. this is who we should have gotten, per rotoworld: Kellen Winslow's new contract with the Bucs is guaranteed for only two years. Though it was billed as the largest contract ever for a tight end, Winslow is only set to earn $1.3M more over the next two years than his existing contract. He's scheduled to make $8.2M in year three of the deal, but it's only guaranteed for injury. Winslow would earn $20.1M in the first three years as opposed to Dallas Clark's $27.5M.
  4. I can't believe he was tasered.
  5. I've seen a lot of mocks having us take him in the 3rd round. I know nothing about this guy. Anyone have any info on him?
  6. We NEVER should have put him on IR. He was a solid linebacker and it wouldn't be a need for us in FA or the draft. He could have come back at some point last year. According to him the Bills wanted him back as well, but he just wouldn't do it. I think the Bills FO screws up situations with players more than most and its really starting to piss me off
  7. Well the pitchers name is Chien Ming Wang, and he hasn't pitched since last season. Its like saying Maddux returns to mound. Don't really see the humor in it. His name is also pronounced Wong, not Wang
  8. Is it possible that we are saying we will put him at Center because we want to draft Max or Unger and eventually will put him at Guard?
  9. He also says Mangold is the best center in the whole league. Thank god we didn't draft him and instead moved up to get McCargo. We would have no Center problem at all, and could have used Hangartner at guard
  10. Let's just consider the guaranteed monet. That's 6 years for 20 million. Slightly over 3.8 per. Not that hefty IMO. I don't know why we can't pay contracts like this to our good players. The only ones who get the huge deals are the ones who seem most undeserving like Kelsay and Denney
  11. Tony looks damn good. I really want the Bills to go after him. I'm think it will take a 3rd to get him
  12. I should never have suggested 3 first round picks. But if we trade Peters AND we trade down then we will have multiple firsts and either multiple 2nd's or 3rd's. I think that's accurate enough
  13. worked for me. they say everette brown of robert ayers
  14. I'd do it for a 3rd in a second
  15. At least we could get an extra 1st, maybe 2 2nds and a 3rd if we trade Peters and trade down. Although I still want to sign Peters
  16. If we trade Peters and if we trade down in the draft, is it possible for us to get 3 1st round picks? or is it more likely another 1 and an extra two and 3? We would be in a good position to draft some great players if that happened, but I'd rather see them re-sign Peters. But with those draft picks we should be able to fill some major holes
  17. HAHAH, yea, he has a nice rack. Somewhere on this thread was a youtube video of game highlights. He looks like a beast, and pretty damn agile for a guy his size. Other than Mike Williams I don't see too many high tackle busts. At least not recently. I could be wrong though
  18. I'll be honest, I haven't seen Andre Smith play, but wasn't he supposed to be the #1 overall before the combine. And also, how come no one talks about Michael Oher as a possibility as well if Peters is traded?
  19. I wouldn't say it's a novelty position, but I don't think we need to draft one all that early. Guys like Travis Beckam and Cornelius Ingram might be had in the 4th round. I would definitely take one of them then
  20. I don't think they can sign anymore FA's. They don't have the money. It's sad I know. They need to keep it to try to re-sign peters and sign our draft picks. Unfortunately, it looks like Pat Thomas and Ellison will be the guys at our SAM position
  21. I agree, I'm just not sure any of the top tackles will be left, therefore getting the best TE, and best blocking TE in the draft at 11, might help a weaker replacement tackle at LT
  22. I'm just wondering if we trade Peters, if we will draft Pettigrew because of his blocking prowess. He could help the new tackle, whether is be a rookie or a NFL vet of a lower caliber than Peters. I'm just wondering if we still go DE or if Peters leaves do we take Pettigrew because we will need help in the run game
  23. Say heloo to our new SAM!!! Way to go Bills
  24. I would love this to happen, but it simply is not going to. We had the best offer for him last year and KC was going to pull the trigger, but Gonzo negged the deal. No way he wants to come now. Only way he changes his mind is if he thinks TO is a good addition and will get along with him, but I highly doubt it. He wants a big market team so he can get lots of endorsement deals to put his face on.
  25. I really respect Mayocks input and insight into players. He might not get the actual teams picks right, but his assessment of players seems to be pretty accurate. I just wonder why he has Robert Ayers at the #5 rated prospect OVERALL. I know we have discussed Ayers before, I just don't know what he sees in him to rank him highly. He had one good year, as did Maybin, but I dont think he has near the upside at all. Maybe he means most NFL ready prospects? I don't know.
