How will he be used the in the games. If his appeal doesn't shorten his games, then it's 3 games he will miss to start the season. We have seen how important training camp and preseason is, Jason Peters being a great example. Lynch is the starter, but knowing he will miss the first 3 games, how do we use him and the other running backs in preseason games?

I too really hope Maybin works out. I was happy with the pick listening to guys like McShay and Mayock saying his first step is top notch. I just worry about his size. Brown and especially Johnson, even Ayers, are much bigger and are NFL ready now. I wasn't sold on Orakpo, but I did like brown. Although I think Byrd will be a good player, we needed help up front. We could have moved Whitener to FS, where everyone says he is better suited. And could have taken Brown in addition to Maybin. Even if one didn't pan out, I can't imagine they would both be busts. Just my opinion. I hope Maybin is a beast and a great player for years to come, but we had opportunities to make our pass rush even better and I don't think we took advantage

per rotoworld Bengals rookie DE/OLB Michael Johnson revealed that he played through a sports hernia last season. Johnson caught a lot flack for his inconsistent effort, but the injury played a part. The versatile Johnson was reportedly the best Bengals' defender during minicamp action, and he's expected to see plenty of playing time as a rookie pass rusher. I know some people here wanted him, and if this injury is true, it could definitely explain his lack of effort. I just don't know why a player wouldn't let teams or the public know this information BEFORE the draft so that they could take that into account

I live in NYC and heard that the NY Giants will have, I believe, Timex logos on their practice jerseys. It will be similar to soccer and a Nascar car in that there is room to add more. I don't like the idea of advertisements on jerseys, but could this help the Bills in a smaller market by getting companies to advertise on their jerseys if, and only if, it happens for preseason and/or regular season games? Just throwing it out there

yea, that's what I thought. At least for a look in camp. Doesn't seem like he'd ask for much if anything at all. Rumors of Levi Jones asking price are ridiculous but this guy was a beast in college who went through some difficult times that now seem to be behind him. I we should definitely bring him in

This is something I have been wondering for a while. I think we should still bring in Levi Jones for a look. It would help at least add depth to the O-line. If he pans out we can move Walker back right. I think it's definitely worth a shot. Thoughts?

It's hard to imagine John Fox starting a rookie right away, but Brown has impressed RT Jeff Otah with his strength, which is saying something. Brown is 6'2/256 soaking wet to the mammoth Otah's 6'6/330 after a three-day fast.

Orakpo shouldn't get DL eligibility in IDP leagues as a stand-up linebacker on early downs. He will blitz with his hand down in nickel situations. As a 4-3 team, the Redskins using the 13th overall pick on a college end and converting him to outside linebacker was a highly unconventional move.
