  1. maybin actually weighs less by 10-20 pounds
  2. It's pretty obvious it's gonna be Frazier or Grimm, and for some reason I don't see Grimm coming. I'd definitely like him though. If they want offensive minded and don't go for Frazier just because of that sticking point, I'm not so sure I'd be happy if it was a lesser talent just because he's on offense
  3. If that would get McNabb, then it's a no-brainer
  4. Also, this helps if we get Frazier because if he brings in Al Saunders as OC we would need a veteran QB to run the offense. It would be a perfect fit
  5. I totally agree. He might not be in is prime, but he is still a very solid QB. He could do wonders for us. draft a lineman (or 2) sign a DT and LB. We might not be that bad
  6. Beat writer Reuben Frank predicts the Eagles will trade Donvoan McNabb and Michael Vick for draft picks and hand the starting job to Kevin Kolb. With McNabb angling for an extension, and the Eagles reluctant to do so, coach Andy Reid's vow to stick with his long-time starter shouldn't necessarily be taken at face value. At the very least, the Eagles are likely to entertain offers for McNabb while deciding whether to extend him or Kolb this offseason. I would love to have either of these guys, preferably McNabb. They both have the arm to throw in the weather conditions, and both have mobility to move around behind a bad line. I think Vick could be had for a 6th, maybe 7th. McNabb, maybe a 2nd and 7th or 3rd and 5th. Not sure though. Hope he wouldn't cost a first
  7. He is also assistant head coach, which does mean something (apparently not to the Bills though as April had the same distinction and didn't get the interim job). The biggest problem with our team is our putrid o-line. He would need to bring in good coordinators with him, but he made Gandy look halfway decent, and has done an incredible job with a lack of talent on the Cards line. He he can come in to Buffalo and bring toughness, and develop the lineman we have, and draft/FA, I think that alone would help us dramatically.
  8. so before you sh-t in everyones Kool-Aid, who do you want then?
  9. ok, let's take this a step further. They coordinate opposite sides of the ball. If B Schott, then who would you want as defensive coordinator and vice versa. WHo would you want as OC for Frazier?
  10. These seem like the two most likely candidates for the job and I have no idea who I want. What I like about Frazier is that he seems to be spoken highly of by any and all media, former player, and current player outlets. A highly respected football guy with a proven track record. That said, he has much better personel in Minny and I'm not sure if the Cover 2 is what we should have moving forward. B Schott seems to be a hot name now due to how the Jets are doing, but until recently Jets fans having been whining about him for a few years and his questionable play calling, etc. I just can't make up my mind.
  11. A lot of sites have us picking him. I haven't seen any Rutgers games this year. Anyone know about him?
  12. Yea, I heard that too. I was just wondering if anyone in the medical field has any insight into an injury like that
  13. I'm no doctor, and have no idea the time table for his return, but I was wondering if any of you on this board have any medical background at all regarding the injury he sustained. I was just wondering with that type of injury could it be career threatening, or is there a good chance he can come back when healthy, at full strength?
  14. Is there a possibility Trent stays if Saunders comes, knowing his playbook would be VERY difficult for a rookie and you need to have a smart QB. I don't really like Trent, but maybe he stays?
  15. Which would you want?
  16. If signing Cowher has us spending too much money, and not enough on the actual players then I'm all for Frazier. RUmors are that he wants to bring in AL Saunders as OC, which would be great. He has missed out on his opportunity to be a HC before, and he will be itching to get the job done. He would be a great pick, IMO. I obviously would love Cowher as well, but not if it has us spending money on him rather than top players
  17. From sources deep within my bowels.....the corn I ate last night will soon be making a second appearance
  18. where is all that money going? these players? no way they equal that amount alone
  19. Yea, that would be great. Take McClain and trade up to get a lineman. Bulaga, Williams, Cambell etc.
  20. I'm hoping in an uncapped year that Ralph might actually spend some money to get some players in here. There was a rumor in a previous thread that Cowher needs assurance we will spend money on players as well. Whether this is true or not, this idea is right. If we spend big money on a coach, we definitely need money for the players, and not this cash to cap BS especially in an uncapped year. I really hope Ralph opens the wallet for both the coach AND the players
  21. one of these guys would you want more? I feel like they might be there when we pick and would be pretty close to can't miss talents
  22. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Carolina's John Fox is "very interested" in the possibility of being the Browns' head coach. The Plain Dealer's Tony Grossi also says Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is willing to reach a settlement that would free Fox from the last year on his contract. Fox shares an agent, Bob LaMonte, with Browns president Mike Holmgren. Other LaMonte clients that could be in play for Cleveland include Marty Mornhinweg, Leslie Frazier, Mike Heimerdinger, and Mike Sherman.
  23. I don't know much about him. Anyone have input on him?
