  1. Jones is a DT
  2. My problem with Smith is that he couldn't crack the starting rotation before Flacco got there behind the likes of Kyle boller. Why would he be an upgrade?
  3. I wouldn't mind a veteran like Chris Chambers to add to WR core, especially if we lose Reed.
  4. I definitely wouldn't mind Shipley. not sure int he 2nd though, as we need a DT as well as OT and LB
  5. I'll throw p if we get McCoy. He won't play if he gets turf burn
  6. how many restricted free agent players would be on the market if this wasn't an uncapped year? not saying we would have gotten a lot of high profile FA"s, but the pool would have been MUCH bigger to choose from. The pickens are pretty slim now
  7. Exactly what I wanted!
  8. I'd be fine with that. We have an extra sixth or seventh, if I'm not mistaken, from the Ko trade. I'm sure that is all that it would take to get it done. I feel like if the Bills like him, they should make their move because there were rumors that he might hit the open market, in which case they won't get into bidding war If it's going to take a conditional 6th or 7th, pull the trigger if he's their man
  9. Need to scroll down: Chan's man? It's almost too easy to connect the dots on this -- which generally means that the thing won't happen -- but Buffalo sources suggest that new coach Chan Gailey will, indeed, consider Vick for a starting job. Gailey, of course, is credited with turning Kordell Stewart into a viable quarterback during his tenure as offensive coordinator with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gailey likes quarterbacks with some mobility, and toward the end of the season Vick seemed to have knocked off the rust and regained some of his speed and quickness. No matter who the Bills import -- and they definitely won't stand pat at quarterback -- Trent Edwards, once thought to be the franchise's long-term starter, will have considerable competition for the No. 1 job.
  10. no new news here, but at least confirms that Gailey likes mobile QB's and they Bills will take a look http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/20...&id=4869530
  11. Terrence Cody too
  12. , Iupati, Pike, Lefevour, Ciron Black, I think they are all there.
  13. It's either a coach on one of the SB teams, which I think is unlikely, or it's a college coach that will be announced after college signing day. Not gonna be someone we "know"
  14. Do these guys even pay attention to the teams they are doing the mock drafts for? I don't put too much thought on these things and especially at this early stage, but the guy from Bleacher Reports writes that we will pick Dez Bryant as a WR to open up the passing game for Ryan Fitzpatrick and give single coverage to T.O.. This is insane! T.O. won't even be here, and most likely Fitz will be a backup. Who are these guys? Give me a job and I'll do better
  15. makes me wonder. would he even have a job?
  16. Ha, true. But there is no way we go DB. Maybe none in the first 5 picks (I hope)
  17. do these guys do any research at all? http://www.rototimes.com/article/2010/1/2010-NFL-Mock-Draft
  18. But then what's the point of a QB if he has no time to throw the ball and no ability to run?
  19. that's what I was getting at
  20. If, and this is a big if, Claussen is there at 9 or Bradford, and we decide we want to go OT (most likely either one of Davis, Bulaga, or Campbell will be there too), a team hungry for a QB with a more NFL ready line might be willing to swap picks with us. This way we add a high pick, AND get the OT that we so desperately need. Thoughts?
  21. this is getting ridiculous. We need our coaching staff and talent evaluators to be PRESENT at the Senior Bowl.
  22. per rotoworld: Idaho OG Mike Iupati's 35-inch arms measured the longest at the Senior Bowl during Monday's weigh-in. He also has 10 3/8-inch hands. Iupati, who finally gets to face NFL-caliber competition this week after mauling through defensive linemen in the WAC, also weighed in at a solid 6'5/325. With a big week, Iupati could sneak into the back end of the first round. Just a thought. He's been listed as possibly being able to play there. Worth a shot maybe?
  23. The only way I'd tke Tebow is if we told him by winning a championship for the Bills he would get to meet Jesus. Can you imagine what he would do?!?!?!
  24. They had an unbelievably easy schedule this year. Please say no to Claussen
