  1. I know that those plaers were drafted but they are spending a ton of money on them due to their high draft status
  2. They are just as much of a small market team as us, if not even more so, yet they consistently mae the playoffs and seem to have money to pay players. Woodson, Rodgers, Mathews, Raji, Jennings, Driver, etc. What is it with our team that makes it so much more difficult to be successful I understand we have been horrible in the draft, but why can they spend and we can't? I don't truly believe all the Ralph is cheap talk. There are some REALLY good FA's out there this year that if we were able to get just two of them our team would be completely different. Why is it the same nonsense every damn year? I don't get it
  3. just got this from rotoworld. If we don't land a RT in FA could he be there in the second round for us? Boston College OT Anthony Castonzo's arms measured 35 1/4 inches at Monday's Senior Bowl weigh-in. The 2011 offensive tackle class has been knocked as underwhelming, but it certainly doesn't lack outstanding length. 6-foot-7 and 310 pounds with ideal arms, Castonzo started a whopping 54 games for B.C. He's widely projected as a right tackle in the NFL, but does not lack left tackle-caliber size.
  4. Hahaha. That actually be a decent way to get him off of our team
  5. Could this move benefit us in some strange way? They are going to have to overhaul the entire defense as we did. Could some players be available that might not fit? Shaun Rogers, D-Qwell Jackson, etc.? They actually have some decent defenders over there. Thoughts?
  6. I like that draft but I'd prefer Barksdale in the second
  7. i've seen him mentioned many times here and seen him play only once. My question to any of you who have seen him play is, can he play 3-4 end? I think that will be one of the biggest questions regarding players we look to draft for the line
  8. I have no problem at all with that. Hes trying to be positive and telling people he's going to put in the necessary work to be better and live up to his draft position. If you've ever heard him talk he is level headed and mature. He's not outspoken and cocky like Maybin and Whitner. They are totally different from him. I just don't get the abuse.
  9. would we ever trade up a spot if he was our guy? what would it cost?
  10. Fairley is an absolute beast a la Suh. Even he went second we would have gotten Bowers. If we didn't have bad luck we'd have none at all
  11. That would be amazing! Not gonna happen though with us having to spend a ton on the 3rd pick in the draft
  12. He also called Mike Mularkey, Mark numerous times in his initial press conference on who he was going to interview
  13. Elway has already said he won't be re-signing Harris. He would be a great addition at RT and wouldn't break the bank either http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_17015571
  14. I'd sh-t myself if we got Woodley, but with a 3rd round pick on the way and re-signing Merriman, it's gonna be another year of little FA acquisitions IMO.
  15. Hawk is due $10 mil next season and Barnett $6. Only way they are kept is if their contracts are ripped up and renegotiated. No way they are kept at those prices
  16. exactly, so don't you agree he'd be good at guard for us? Bell, Levitre, Wood, Gallery, FA/Draft Pick
  17. True, they have the ability to keep all 3 but it looks like the likelihood isn't that great
  18. Come on now. He's much better than Green or Walker ever are or ever were
  19. there was an article I was reading earlier by Patrick Moran stating that Gailey likes Wood at center, and I'd tend to agree with him. He seems more stout at the point of attack and he's more a brute to handle the guys in the middle. Maybe Hang goes to guard or the bench. If he's gone, however, would gallery be a decent pickup? He never panned out at tackle but has been solid as a guard. Also, if Andre Davis doesn't come back I don't think the Pack can keep both Hawk and Barnett. I'd take either one of these guys. Thoughts?
  20. He sucks b@lls. But then again, he can walk on water and Jesus will catch a TD
  21. Trippng over Moats!!!. That was a TD. How did that happen?
  22. Man I hate them, and if this is true, it boggles my mind why nothing is ever done. I guarantee it was Wilfork: http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2010/11/lions_shaun_hill_says_patriots.html
  23. I really thought Nelson would develop into a great pass catching threat from the TE spot. He's built like a large WR. Maybe that' his problem, he's too small to stay and help block. My question is, and this is because I can't look at the film, is he not open? Is he running bad routes? Does Chan simply not want to throw to the TE? Coverage underneath could be exposed with a decent TE and that would make our WR's that much better (which is a scary thought). Could Nelson still be our TE of the future? I just want to know from any of you out there that may have looked at the game film more closely
  24. He was talking about how old his son was when he got traded away, and how he wants to stick it to Linnehan and get a W
  25. That was awesome! They didn't show the whole "sit down stand up" thing with Lee. Hilarious that he wants to Find Linnehan after the game
