  1. And he knows when to use it at just the right time to drive fans nuts!
  2. There will be a lot of speculation in the next 5-7 days about what is going to happen with the Bills head coaching position. Can everyone please try to understand that in no scenario will Chan Gailey be retained and kept as our offensive coordinator? I can't believe how many different people have suggested this in different threads. I can confidently say that there is a 0% chance of this happening, and if it somehow does, I will eat my shoe.
  3. Even being your dream scenario... Where do people come up with this stuff?
  4. And the fact that we will likely have a top 7 pick is exactly why a team should never give up future first round picks
  5. By my calculations, the best we could draft is #4, worst is #10
  6. Lol, where do people come up with this stuff???
  7. Really? Tell that to the Colts.
  8. I feel like you made a fair point, and Schopp's response was honest and candid. I don't care for the show either, but I have to imagine that if I was in their shoes, I would become pretty jaded from all the calls over the years. It is like any profession. You get to know your customers, you make prejudgements, and sometimes you are right, sometimes you are wrong.
  9. At first I dismissed your suggestion, but having thought it over, you might be right. But I think a lot of people would wait on an RB, kinda to figure quite where Spiller would be ranked.
  10. Ya, I was thinking this could be worked out in Madden, but I don't think the AI would accurately reflect what real GMs would do. Move along, thread crapper
  11. You wouldn't want to keep the team together. I'm just saying, as an experiment, could you with the Bills? That's a testament to the current state of the team. If the 49ers, Packers, Patriots or Texans tried to, they likely would not be able to.
  12. First of all, I have to give credit to my brother for this. I spend an unhealthy amount of time talking about football, but I have never pondered or posed a question quite like this: If the NFL decided to hit a reset button, and every player was an available draft pick, would the Bills be able to re-draft their entire team? Mind you, this isn't a good thing, and obviously the Bills wouldn't want to re-draft their current roster, but using this as an experiment to show the lack of talent on the roster, do you think it is possible? I think this could probably be argued for a lot of the bottom-dwellers, but I'm focusing on our Bills. Let's use the 49ers as an example. In a re-draft (either snake style or reset back to first each round), I find it unlikely that they would still be able to draft Patrick Willis and Aldon Smith, among others. This is just a small example, but certainly it gets more complicated as the draft goes on. The only area that I think things might get tricky for the Billa is with the O-line, trying to get Wood, Levitre and Glenn. Who would be the Bills first pick to keep the team intact? CJ Spiller? Kyle Williams? Stephon Gilmore? And would Luck be the no doubt first overall pick, for whichever team got the first pick?? Who else is even in the conversation? Matt Ryan? Robert Griffen III? Quinn Pitcock?
  13. I don't think anyone knows what Andy Reid needs. I mean, he dealt with his sons' issues in the past, never stopped coaching. When his son passed away this summer, he barely missed any time. Who knows, maybe he just loves the grind. And coaching opportunities don't last forever. If he gets a stab at another head coaching gig, he might have to take it. Certainly, a fresh start away from Philly can't hurt.
  14. He's been there for 13 years. Coaches get stale. We'd be so lucky to find a coach that lasts that long and got stale.
  15. This is Reid's 14th year in Philly. He has had only 3 losing seasons (if you include this year). Nine playoff appearances. Overall record of 129-86.... Ya, we're too good for Reid.
  16. Surprised no one posted Mr. Whitner's yet... http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?340675-Donte-Whitner-gets-bills-tatoo-on-his-arm
  17. He played for the "North Carolina Panthers"... Interesting...
  18. I'm 28 years old. I remember the Super Bowls, but I was too young to care. My full blown addiction began in the '96 season, when we got bumped out of the playoffs by Jacksonville. It has been a looooooong 16 years...
  19. Luck will be a fine consolation prize. Colts didn't have the talent to support Manning his last few seasons.
  20. What??? He averaged 5.5 yards a carry over 170 carries. He was consistently excellent each week. That doesn't even account for his 442 receiving yards. I certainly hope Spiller keeps it up, but Fred's game last year was on another level.
