I hold a draft party for my friends to come over. Last year, I built this SWEET 4' x 6' draft board to list my top players at each position. It has room for 24 prospects at each position. I wasn't sure how well it was going to work, but it was a hit last year. Thankfully, my fiancee writes in all 240 prospects names for me because my childish hand-writing looks awful on the white board. I'll post some pics of the board when it's finished. -

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but you do realize that for the rest of your life, the last weekend in April (draft weekend) will also be your anniversary weekend? This is not good news. I've gone so far as telling my fiancee there will be no baby making at the end of June because if the kid has a B-Day near the draft, my draft weekend is done for eternity. And yes, I have a problem with the draft. -
Just got my seat upgrade approved!

Fortunately, my grandfather got seats in the very beginning, so we're something like 18 on the seniority list. We've been very lucky with our seats. -
Dominique Rodgers Cromartie

The thought of that scares the crap out of me. DRC is so raw right now, Moss would eat him up and spit him out. I don't know what he'll be capable of down the road, but at least for next year, Jabari Greer is a better option to line up against Moss than any corner in this draft. -
Personally, I don't care for Allen. But he is better than Schobel, no question. Allen is a game-changer. As much as he may irritate me, he pressures the QB much better than Schobel.

The Kelsay stuff never ceases to amaze me. He signed a new contract last year. They did not give him a nice signing bonus so they could trade him the next year.

Totally. It's freakin' irritating how many Schmitt fan boys are on this board. I wouldn't have a problem if it was because they followed him and really liked him. But the truth is, they've seen his YouTube video smashing his helmet and they immediately think "this is a Buffalo guy... blah blah." Anyone that thinks we should draft a FB in the fourth or, as crazy as it sounds, the third, is severely over-emphasising the importance of a FB on the Bills and throughout the entire league.

I am 23 myself, but I take pleasure in pounding the Fish. Even if you weren't a fan in the 70s and 80s, it's a Bills fan's duty to dislike the Fins whether it makes sense or not. The only team I'd take more pleasure in beating is the Patriots. And, well, I still think about the "31-0" pretty much on a daily basis. That's coming up on five years now. I'm hungry to beat the Pats.

Personally, I've been thinking about starting a Bryant Johnson thread. -

another Mock Draft

I think it's more likely the Texans trade up to 11 with us for Mendenhall, if he's still there. -
Greenbay intrested in Losman?
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail replied to CarolinaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see why he would. His new team has a drastically different opinion of his price tag than he does. It would be very difficult to come to terms. Losman still believes he's a starter and wants a shot. Any new team likely views him as a second stringer with the ability to at least compete for a starting job. They won't pay him much. And why would Losman sign a small potatoes extension with a team when he's only a year away from hitting the open market to see if a better opportunity is out there? -

Oh no, I'm just saying if the roles were reversed and another team had a guy like Losman with one year left on his contract. It just doesn't seem feasible to spend a mid-round pick on the guy. A team would be better served using that pick to select a QB in the draft who will be locked up for at least three years. I think Losman has some value in this league, it's just the circumstances involved in a trade don't jive right now. -
I'm hearing a lot of buzz he's not going to be selected in the first round. I like him a lot, but I think the rest of the league might see a good but unspectacular player.

Don't get your hopes up. Rodgers looked at least capable when he filled in for Favre. Would make much sense for any team, including Green Bay, to offer a third or even a fourth for a guy who at best could compete for a starting job, then will be up for a new deal after the season. If it were the Bills interested, we all know they couldn't sell a move like that to the fans. So why would another team be able to? Losman is better off being a Bill until his contract expires. -

“We exercised extreme patience with regard to the trade for Stroud,” Overdorf said. “It was a total team effort, starting with Mr. Wilson. . . .We had options available to us. We had a couple things that you probably wouldn’t believe, which we thought we were going to move forward with, but that we discovered just weren’t going to be in our best interest to do.” That was the most intriguing part of the article to me. I wonder what those things were that we wouldn't believe.
