  1. Well, forget about records and tie-breakers and all that jazz. Look at it like this: Are the Bills and their coaching staff capable of winning six games in a row (five out of six if you start looking at tie-breakers)? Certainly not right now.
  2. You deserve whatever you've got coming to you. Grow up.
  3. I know this post is partly in jest, but if you were a REAL Bills fan, you would know that Lindell prefers the ball on the left hash because most kickets use the right goal post to aim their kicks in.
  4. Totally agree. I mean, he sounded like he couldn't wait to get off the field.
  5. I have been keeping my eye on his situation. I actually think he is an exception to the way the Bills do business, meaning he might actually be a guy they would bring in mid-season to help.
  6. Oh, I totally agree with that. If McKelvin made a heads up play like that, I'd be pumped. My problem was simply with Perrera's attitude towards it. I mean, that was a dumb dumb rule. And he takes pleasure in someone taking advantage of that? That would be like him commending a QB for taking a dive to draw a late hit penalty. I think he probably should have said, "This is one of those tough calls where we have to be consistent throughout, and it just happened to really work out for the Jets." If anyone wants to see the clip, just go to NFL.com, highlight videos and select "NFL Network," and then look for it at the bottom (you may have to scroll through some pages now).
  7. As interesting as this segment is, I have decided that I'm turned off by Perrera's arrogance. The final straw was last week's edition, when he was talking about Leon Washington's play on the kick return against us. He took delight in the fact that Leon Washington was familiar with the loop-hole in the rule. Is that really appropriate? I mean, I don't see why he should take such pleasure in a bad rule being put into effect. And considering how many bad calls happen every week, I rarely ever see him act responsible (on his crew's behalf) for the really bad ones.
  8. Your take is hilarious. It doesn't matter what "statement" he was trying to make. That was NOT the platform to make a statement. If he really wants to promote unity, do something in the community. Doing an act with the game on the line is totally inappropriate. What if he pulled the glove out and the Browns got the ball at the fifty with 1:30 left? You think that's much adieu about nothing?
  9. I know that nothing should be shocking at this point, but I have to say that what happened at the end of the Broncos/Browns game is pretty much unfathomable to me. The Broncos battle back to take a lead with 1:30 left, and Brandon Marshall is honestly so selfish that he wanted to perform an end zone stunt after his score, knowing full well his team would be penalized? He's so stupid that his teammates were forced to intervene to stop it? I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I'm not some curmudgeon that preaches sportsmanship and honor; in fact, I enjoy the wacky celebrations. But attempting to pull a stunt and jeopardzing the outcome after your team fought to take the late lead pushes the envelope. I know we have a lot to be frustrated about with our Bills, but I'm pretty sure no one on our team would do this. I am thankful for that.
  10. I've been thinking for a while now that he will get a new deal in the offseason.
  11. At the end of the day, the bottom line is winning. In five seasons on the job, we did not make the playoffs. I don't think Donahoe is as bad as some people make him out to be, but I don't see why Mort has a problem with the Bills and their fans going in another direction after five seasons (after two previous years) without a playoff berth.
  12. How do you suggest we handle revamping our entire defensive roster to fit his 3-4 scheme?
  13. I am 99.9% sure that that does not apply the same as it does in baseball.
  14. I HATE that argument. It doesn't make sense. Coaches work all week on a game plan. They believed that what they put together would be sufficient to make enough stops on the Dolphins offense, despite their opening drive TD. And Jauron was right. That would have been the right call if we didn't fall apart in the fourth quarter. I would've liked to see Marshawn run it off left tackle on fourth and 1, but the coaches devise a game plan for a reason. Taking the sure thing there was part of their plan.
  15. I couldn't agree more. I really have to bite my tongue sometimes. Wasn't this board preparing to sacrifice Chris Mortensen to the football Gods for predicting the Dolphins would win? I just don't get it. The Bills were on the road against a physical team who was desperate. We lost. It happens. That is why Mortensen picked the Dolphins.
  16. You can't cut him. Yes, he has been mediocre and lets the team down in critical situations. But its pretty clear that he is a leader in the locker room. If you cut him mid-season, it will do more harm than good. Just limit his reps or keep him blocking.
  17. Saved by Zero might be one of the worst ad campaigns of all time. What grown man goes into a studio, sings that awful jingle, and still lives with himself?
  18. Yeah? How do you explain the Giants winning the Super Bowl? I would not exactly call guys like Plaxico Burress and Ahmed Bradshaw model citizens If we have a team of all Chris Kelsays and Jason Whittles, we will lose.
  19. Ya might want to switch up your avatar now
  20. I prefer Royal. He's more dependable.
  21. Do you guys think that there is even as much as a one percent chance a deal gets done in time for Sunday's game? I have this brand new 52" LCD that is just sitting there. The reception doesn't come in perfectly clear like some people find.
