  1. I guess this wouldn't be considering the worst, but maybe the oddest. I owned a Jim Jeffcoat jersey. Oh yeah baby. I found it on the floor at the clearance rack at JC Penneys over 10 years ago.
  2. You were following them closely this season, but you go to a bar without TVs during the Championship game???? What is wrong with you????????
  3. Your post never specifically mentions him talking about Buffalo. Did it come up? Or is he just interested in coaching again?
  4. How about just hooking the kid up with a real jersey? He's wearing a freaking JC Penney's jersey on the cover of a sports magazine
  5. You're not really going out on a limb here. I mean, if the Lions win I'm sure you'll bump the thread. But after they lose, the thread is just going to be sucked into the abyss of the archives.
  6. Nope. I did not listen to the linked files; I only listed to the excerpts they played on the Ron & Fez Show. Did that stuff not come up on the links I provided?
  7. Nate's return is meaningless. I would, however, clap for Mr. Spikes. Welcome back!!
  8. Here's a link to PTI: http://bills.fandome.com/video/105441/PTI-...-Trent-Edwards/
  9. On PTI, they simply asked, "Buffalo or Toronto?" to end the interview. He said Buffalo.
  10. Allegedly, according to the show I listen to. Apparently they met up at that Sabres game and have been on dates since. This isn't coming from her though (at least as far as I know; I don't listen to her show in Rochester). Somebody already summed it up a little. There were a couple of nuggets that were cringe inducing. He introduced her to Duke Preston, and he was like, "Do you who a center is?" And she kind of ended up saying, "They're always big and black." And then she asked if it was difficult taking girls home since he lives with his sister. She said as long as they aren't screamers, right? He was pretty shy about the question - as he should be - saying that he's not the type to bring girls home.
  11. Very scary times indeed...
  12. Oh yeah, I love the buddays! East Side Dave makes me laugh so hard some times. And Earl is so great at being useless, hahaha
  13. So I listen to Ron & Fez on XM Satellite Radio. An intern from their show got a job on the Brother Wease show in Rochster, NY. Apparently, she got to interview Trent Edwards, and Ron and Fez played it on their show. It was very cringe. I found a link to it on the Brother Wease site: http://wease.fox951.com/pages/Lilly.html I think Trent handled it pretty good. But apparently, they are dating now. Unreal.
  14. You hate to say that he would have failed after what happened to him, but I just don't think he would have been a difference-maker. It's not all his fault. The knee injury is always tough to come back from. And he was playing in an offense that makes very poor use of tight ends. I just think he ultimately would have ended up being just another name in a long list of obscure of tight ends (Lonnie Johnson, Tony Cline, Dan O'Leary, Dave Moore, Tim Euhus, Ryan Neufield, and Michael Gaines)
  15. After the success of Michael Turner this year, I do wonder if maybe a team would look at Fred Jackson as an option. We could probably give him the second highest tender (first round pick compensation) without anyone making an offer, but I would not be surprised if teams were then calling the Bills and offering a second round pick. I could see Cincinnati, Cleveland, New Orleans, and Seattle all showing interest.
  16. Not to take anything away from him (he's been a stud, no doubt), but he seems to fit into the dome atmosphere pretty good. I'm not sure he would have had the same impact playing in Buffalo.
  17. I was including them because they are both veteran QBs who appeared washed out, but have bounced back in the right situations.
  18. I could understand your logic if the Patriots were playing against air rather than real NFL football players. But Cassel still has to make the throws. And clearly he has football sense, as evidenced by his TD scrambles the last few weeks. But this ends the argument right here: What NFL QB has been sacked the most this season? Matt Cassel. So much for that great line.
  19. As long as the NFL has the likes of Kerry Collins, Gus Ferrotte, Kurt Warner, Shaun Hill, and Daunte Culpepper starting at QB, Donovan McNabb will have a job in the NFL. And I think it's deserved. His career TD/INT ratio is 185:89. His passer rating over the last FOUR years is 93.78. And he has only had a true number one receiver for one season in Philadelphia. Every time you count this guy out, he comes right back.
  20. Ugh... So you're saying that Peyton Manning is a system QB because he has had a good line and Harrison? Or Kelly was a good QB because he had a good line and Reed? At some point you have to give a guy credit. It's not that Cassel is a system QB, it's that because of some of the weapons the Patriots possess, he is able to bring out his best abilities. Sorry buddy, but Cassel is 8th in passing yards, 11th in TDs, and 11th in QB rating. Rob Johnson only had one good game. I'm not saying Cassel will be a stud on his next team, but he's not in the same situation as one-game Johnson was.
  21. You thought we were running up the score? We had like an entire quarter left to play. And we invoked the mercy rule by simple giving the ball back to them with enough time to drive again. I've never even seen that happen before.
  22. I didn't mean it like he turned it down. I was just saying that he was strongly considered for the position (according to all of the reports), one of two possibilities.
  23. I would be shocked if he left UB for Syracuse. I mean, he had a chance to coach Nebraska last offseason. After this season for UB, he will have much better opportunities than Syracuse.
  24. Nice find, Bagel! I think that effectively says, "FACE" to the miserable LV-Bills
  25. I think Jauron would be fired, re-hired before the season is over, signed to a life-time contract extension, and then fired again at the close of the season with Ralph eating his $100 million contract before that happened.
