  1. This article is a waste of time. If he wanted to bring awareness, fine. But to suggest this could be a reality which would reduce ticket prices significantly for the average fan is madness. These leagues are past the point of no return. We won't see $8 tickets ever again.
  2. If this freaks you out, then you didn't see the other recent blog post by Brown, in which he said that he would not take Tebow in either round one or two. He said that they have too many needs. So if he is a mouth piece, he's doing a pretty good job of presenting both sides.
  3. Eh, Coles isn't any better than Josh Reed at this point in his career. I think they would have just kept him if they intended on going that direction.
  4. Hmmm, an OT from the Big 12 with questionable work ethic and the last name Williams... Don't care for my odds
  5. Who would be better served getting playing time: Stevie Johnson or a 61-year old Kevin Curtis? I'll take the fresh legs
  6. Not enough. Timmy A is worth MULTIPLE Thursday night picks
  7. Where do people come up with this stuff? While we're at it, let's move Keith Ellison to Detroit for a second rounder.
  8. With all due respect to Ross Tucker, I'm not sure the atmosphere he described is the type of atmosphere that players we need care about
  9. I find it much more likely that Williams didn't want to cross the country to play for a team that has missed the playoff 9 years in a row, rather than our FO showing no interest.
  10. I thought this thread was going to be about Jake Reed. That would've had me listening.
  11. lol, then what makes you think it's going to be any different here. Aren't we all sick of losing?
  12. Yeah, it really was terrible analysis. This part in particular: "The only other situation is that he hasn't taken many snaps from under center. Is that a serious argument? I can take snaps from under center, I am not sure as to why that is being played out as such a big deal." Um, really? You run a draft site and you think that ESPN is referring to the act of taking a snap from center? Of course anyone could take a snap from center. What ESPN is talking about is playing QB from under center, having a different look of the field, taking 3/5 step drops, running a play action. It's an entirely different way to play if you have been sitting back in the shotgun for three or four years.
  13. Um, are you forgetting about Tebow? We can argue his football skill until we're blue if the face, but I could definitely see them selecting Tebow and promoting the hell out of him... and Bills fans eating it up.
  14. I don't think he is anymore. Ever since they lost the exclusive highlight packages on Sunday before the night game, he seems to have lost his effectiveness. Primetime was unique; the pre-game show is just one of one of many.
  15. Boldin will not be traded for a third rounder. I guarantee it. They'll keep him and let him play out his contract before they trade him for that. And thinking he could be a Bill... Not gonna happen
  16. In all honesty, is there a contact number at One Bills Drive? We need to just bombard them. I'm looking into it...
  17. Ummmm, no. I don't believe that. Buffalo is one of 32 head coaching jobs at the highest level on this planet. There is more to it than those reasons you listed, we just don't know what they are.
  18. That absolutely doesn't take his name out. That's what he's saying now... before he's been offered a job (under a scenario where the Bills want him). He would leave his coordinator post for a HC job in a heartbeat, no matter what he says.
  19. My darkhorse QB that could become available is David Garrard. If they somehow manage to draft Tim Tebow in Jacksonville, they may hand him the keys to the team. Just an idea...
  20. I believe where there us smoke there is fire, and I think it is nice to just see these kind of numbers tossed around.
  21. Roos signed a big extension with Tennesse a while ago
  22. Trent Williams from OK will also go high. Ideally, it would be nice to land a top LT in the first and hope a solid QB prospct (McCoy?) falls to us in the early second. If all else fails, maybe we can get lucky and Nebraska's Suh will still be there.
  23. It was a deal that included a team option for a second season at over $5M. They won't pick it up.
  24. I'm saying this occured after they already goofed on the three year extension and had to make a decision about Jauron in the offseason.
  25. All of the excitement that goes with the names being thrown around got me thinking: What if Wilson/Brandon were planning for this? After they signed Jauron to the extension, maybe the Bills figured they would be better served keeping Jauron for one more season to save some money. If we made the playoffs, great. If not, they knew that there would be several big names available in this upcoming offseason that weren't going to jump right into another job. Additionally, figuring the season could very well be a wash, they signed TO to help the season ticket numbers for this year until they could get one of the big names. Makes sense to me. If they coveted Shanahan, would it have been the right choice to fire Jauron last year and sign someone else all the while knowing they could wait one more year to get their guy? Probably not. If we had to endure one more year of Jauron to get a real coach, that is fine by me.
