Listening to Sirius broadcasting from the Owner's meetings last night, they were interviewing Buddy Nix and asking him about potential changes to the overtime rules. In trying to state that it works both ways, the current system may burn you one week, but provide you an advantage the next, Buddy said: "It's just a matter of whose dog's gittin' kicked..." I love this guy!

I generally just ask them simple questions about their team(like "Can you name 10 players on your active roster?" etc.) which they invariable fail to correctly answer. I then answer the questions for them. Living in MA has proven to me my previous conclusion that pats* fans and band-wagoners at best, know nothing about "their" team, and abandon them for the red sox at the first sign that they won't be winning the superbowl that particular year. Effing pats* fans.

I headed down to NYC for the draft last year and had a great time. I'm deciding if I will go again this year, but cannot find any info on how to get tickets with new format being three days instead of two. Last year we had to wait in line the night before day 1 to get a wristband that guaranteed entrance. Has anybody heard anything about how they're doing it this year?

Not all Buffalo sports fans would refrain from these types of statements. As a Sharks fan, I joined the in-game discussion of the SJ-BUF game at Sabrespace, as I knew I would be sharing the board with several posters from TSW. On two seperate occasions during the game, a poster stated "I smell Skark blood!" Immediately following each of these statements, the Sharks put the puck past Miller and into the back of the net. At another point, the following came from a poster following a great save by miller: "Heatley celebrates; Miller makes the save. Lol" As if on cue, Heatley immediately put the puck in the back of the net. No disrespect to the particular poster, but it seems that some lessons are hard learned in Buffalo.

Yup. I love Cali and miss it everyday now that I am stuck in patriots* country... But, being so close to BFLO made it possible for me to go to my first ever game at the Ralph this season. Went to the fish fry in November.
