  1. During the final two minutes of the first half and the game the umpire moves back to his "normal" position on the defensive side of the ball. So, no, it won't hurt teams in the closing seconds, but will definitely hurt in other ways. For instance, as long as an o-lineman keeps his hands inside the shoulders, he can hold as much as he wants and the umpire will never be able to see it as the lineman's back is to him.
  2. And we are currently trying another singer at QB... Trent
  3. Dude... misplaced. Try the Trading Post. Trading Post
  4. I've been around long enough to know that crayonz is never serious. Maybe in the future I will need to frame my comments with "sarcasm, and /sarcasm" so as not to confuse people. And as for the further explanation I provided, I just thought that a little bit of history on the genesis of the Stanford name, logo and mascot just *might* be interesting to somebody.
  5. You ever hear of a "Cardinal" tree? And I'm sure there are plenty of SF Bay Area native's on this board, myself included, who really appreciate your broad generalization of a group of people based entirely on the locale in which they live or lived. If you want to attack something I said, fine. If you want to attack me, that's fine, too. I'm a grown man, I can deal with that. Just lose the anonymous blogosphere balls and stop insulting an entire region, jackhole.
  6. You're a moron. See below: "On November 17, 1981, school President Donald Kennedy declared that the athletic teams be represented by the color Cardinal in its singular form.[1]Stanford has no official mascot, but the Stanford Tree, a member of the Stanford Band wearing a self-designed tree costume, appears at major Stanford sports events. The Tree is based upon El Palo Alto, a redwood tree in neighboring Palo Alto that appears in the Stanford seal and athletics logo." -Wikipedia And, I see it coming, "Who trusts Wikipedia? Anybody can mess with Wikipedia." But, being a SF Bay Area native, the above is common knowledge.
  7. Beastmode strikes again? Gimme twenty dollas foo.
  8. "That's a chicken $#!t call!" M. Levy
  9. My TO jersey will be retired, just like the Jersey of any player who has left the team except the greats: Thurman, Jimbo and Bruuuce(and the occasional rocking of the Flutie). I have a retired jersey section of my closet that includes: Losman, Bledsoe, McGahee, Spikes, Fletcher, Eric Moulds, and now... TO. All of them are in original condition(free of nameplate changes and duct tape residue) and worn to death. Never used duct tape of changed a name, I like having the library of Bills Jerseys to look back on, kind of a recent history exhibit. I hope to find a way to incorporate them in the decor of the bar I plan on building in my basement.
  10. Such explanation/justification should not be required to interpret the work of a professional writer. And, a louder screamer isn't always a good thing. I had a girl who lived in an apartment, the neighbors thought I was assaulting her(and not in the good way) and next thing we knew, the cops were at the door... although, I was proud of myself for taking her there.
  11. I don't recall pressing "2" for whatever language that post was written in...
  12. I can't take seriously the opinion of a "writer" who uses the phrase "more quieter."
  13. Duff's. Followed by a wild night with the gorgeous women of Buffalo at Applebee's and Dave & Buster's for some Skee Ball.
  14. Shirts(or bras) vs. skins...
  15. MOORMAN. 117.9 career QB rating.
  16. I'd like to see a link to this info, if there indeed is one, and you didn't pull these numbers out of your overly pious, holier-than-thou rear end...
  17. Bannan? He's back?
  18. I also purchased a couple chinese knock-offs last season. One TO blue TB that looks great and a Donte Twhitner navy home jersey that looks like ass. From what I can tell, the throwbacks from DHGate are pretty solid, but I would stay away from the current home uni's.
  19. Shut your hole, Wang Chung!
  20. The ILB rotation will be Poz, Davis and Mitchell. We need Kawika to serve as quality depth for our middle.
  21. Alright everybody. Goodnight. See you again tomorrow night, same Draft time, same Draft channel.
  22. Clausen isn't in NYC. He declined the first round invite. He's in Palm Desert, CA.
